Fergie will be happy enough to leave with a Double.
Take this with a pinch of salt, I did:
My brothers mate is doing work experience at some posh golf club, he met Harry Redknapp there the other day, he gave him some horse racing tips for today, which Harry owns/part owns, aswell as saying that its a done deal that Ronaldo and Mourinho will be at Utd next season...
Apologies. Sarcasm run amok.
I've been the leading proponent of the "Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford" theory for the last few months, only to be mercilessly ridiculed for even suggesting the possibility.
It's on, my friends. Tony better start looking around for another squad number.
I hope he comes back just so we don't have to see Valencia in that #7 jersey anymore.
Why would Redknapp be in the known about Mourinho's plans?
Yes. Yes. Yes.
I always trust people who hang around horse race tracks.
I foresee that replies to this will revolve around the fact that Charlton wouldn't say that we were discussing bringing him back. We rarely do talk about transfers, and for something like that we definitely wouldn't mention it.
CR7 asked if he is now happy at Real... and doesn't reply
Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo collected the 'Trofeo Di Stéfano' for La Liga's best player, and failed to respond to questions about his happiness at Real.
On Monday, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was presented with the 'Trofeo Di Stéfano'. Named after Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stéfano, the prize is awarded by Spanish sports newspaper 'Marca' for the best player in La Liga. The Portuguese international received the award as the league's top performer during season 2011-12.
As he collected the award from Di Stéfano himself, the Portuguese international was asked if he is now happy at the Santiago Bernabéu - in September, he had told the press that he felt "sad" in the Spanish capital - and an awkward silence followed as Cristiano failed to offer a response to the question.
The uncomfortable situation was only alleviated when CR7 was asked about the team's prospects for the season. He replied: "There's still a long way to go, but we're in the final of the Copa del Rey and we have taken a big step forwards in the Champions League. It'll be difficult to win La Liga, but we have to fight until the very end."
He added: "I hope that we achieve our goal for the season, which is to win an important piece of silverware."
I assume this is it. That was so awkward
according to the argie papers -all of them pro messi- ronaldo had an uneventful game against israel and portugal's qualification for brazil 2014 is in danger
Portugal are under-achievers. With the midfield and attack (to an extent, I'm not sure if they have a decent out-and-out goalscorer up front). Played Postiga up front today I see. Very good midfield in Veloso, Moutinho and Meireles, and they're defence isn't too shabby as well considering it as two Madrid defenders in there as well as Bruno Alves.
Good individuals - bad as a team.
