Cristiano Ronaldo

Ffs I'm getting teased the feck out of here. Make it happen make it happen for the love of feck just make it happen.

But I do worry what it would mean for Valencia and Youngs future if we were to sign both Zaha and Ronaldo, maybe it's best we leave him alone...

Sign the second best player in the world, worry about squad players.

Caf logic.

If this happens...big IF even if Ronaldo wants to come and United want him, many things need to fall into place. Think something is happening.

But in all honesty. Ronaldo, Rooney and Van Persie in the same side would be cheating.

With those players United should win the Quadruple.

There'll be a tsunami of semen all over the Caf if he arrives.

Anyone who believes Ronaldo is coming summer could be accused of needing a sanity check.

Just imagine for one second if he comes and its quiet all summer and then July 1st you turn it on sky sports or something and you see the headline 'Real Madrid accept X million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United'. Imagine how good that will feel!

I wouldn't be too shocked if he does come, in all honesty. Can't really see him moving to PSG.

Not to sound blunt, but, you know, who cares how our backup wingers would feel.

Hopefully something along the lines of if only we hadn't been so mediocre all season perhaps this may not have happened?

(yes I understand it's a team game, but come on)

Has anyone mentioned Valencia's feeling about having the no.7 shirt taken away yet?

Whether we get Ronaldo or not (won't happen IMO), Valencia is not a real number 7 anyway for me.

Manchester United have two-month window to find money to tempt Real Madrid to sell Cristiano Ronaldo

Although Sir Alex Ferguson last week dismissed the prospect of Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford, four years after leaving in a world record £80 million transfer to Real, by claiming the idea to be a “false hope”, it is understood both United and Ronaldo are open to the possibility of a summer transfer. However, United must overcome Real’s plans to begin contract talks with Ronaldo at the end of this season if they are to have any hope of re-signing the player.

With United currently negotiating a new kit deal with Nike, whose current contract expires in 2015, the opportunity for the American sportswear giant to restore their leading football player to a Nike-wearing team has given both parties common ground for discussion on the possibility of funding a move for Ronaldo.

Neither United nor Nike can discuss the status and progression of the talks, however, due to regulations on the New York Stock Exchange, where United are currently listed following last August’s partial share flotation.

Ronaldo is currently approaching the final two years of his contract at the Bernabéu and Spanish champions Real are determined to retain the 28-year-old.

Club president Florentino Pérez, who is due to stand for re-election later this year, has scheduled meetings with Ronaldo and his advisers for the end of May, when attempts will be made to negotiate a new deal for the player that would see him surpass Samuel Eto’o’s £330,000-a-week wages at Anzhi Makhachkala as the world’s highest-paid player.

Should those talks fail to reach an agreement, Real would be faced with the prospect of having to sell Ronaldo to avoid the Portuguese forward from running down his contract and leaving as a free agent in 2015, or at a much-reduced price in the summer of 2014.

The chances of Ronaldo returning to United remain unlikely due to the figures involved and Real’s determination to keep him at the Bernabéu.

However, with doubt still surrounding his intentions at Real following his claim to be unhappy earlier this season,United and Nike are determined to explore the financial possibilities in order to be able to launch a move for Ronaldo should negotiations with Real fail to progress.

Oh ffs you guys can not be serious. Do I have to spell out sarcasm to you all?

Trousers down, pants down, cocks out, fap away boys, fap away.

He's definitely coming, done deal

It would do the brand image of Chevrolet/Nike a whole lot of good if they get some credit in such a transfer. Has this ever happened before?

It's a great (plastic) marketing tool - "Messi signed for Chelsea with the help of Samsung". I can only imagine there's some rule against it.

Would be a massive bit of advertising for them. Though I can see there being issues with actually allowing it to happen in that manner.

Plenty of ways around it, just have a new sponsorship for something totally random and say that this money will directly go towards buying new players. The let the press do the rest.

It's going to be a shit day when his world record new contract is announced.

I'm finding it odd that supposedly Madrid are willing to sell their goal a game forward and I'm finding it even more odd that people seem to be believing it.

Not going to happen. If we, realistically, wanted him back we should have gotten a buy back clause of some sort.

Yeah, that's the reason  Remember how openly United talked about possible transfers in the period we weren't listed?

This is all just massive muppetry. There's nothing more to tabloid reports of Ronnie coming back based on the fact he was respectful against us than there is of tabloid reports of Rooney being sold because he was dropped for one game. It's all nonsense and guess work designed to sell papers, get hits and pander to the over excited desires of fans.

I'll bet my left bollock we don't re-sign him. In fact feck it, both of my bollocks. Because we wont re-sign him. Certainly not while he's still in his prime. He might come back for cheapish when he's no longer top dog at Madrid, but no chance of before.

Just shit on everyone's dreams why don't you.

Apologies. Sarcasm run amok.

I've been the leading proponent of the "Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford" theory for the last few months, only to be mercilessly ridiculed for even suggesting the possibility.

It's on, my friends. Tony better start looking around for another squad number.

Take this with a pinch of salt, I did:

My brothers mate is doing work experience at some posh golf club, he met Harry Redknapp there the other day, he gave him some horse racing tips for today, which Harry owns/part owns, aswell as saying that its a done deal that Ronaldo and Mourinho will be at Utd next season...

Fergie will be happy enough to leave with a Double.
