I don’t think Ronaldo is going anywhere near America, owing to legal reasons.
Why? Case was dismissed.

Hopefully gets the winning goal to break the record.
Does he need only one more goal to break the record?I thought he needed two?Equalizes the Ali Daei record. One more to overtake!

Exactly the reaction I was hoping for.![]()
Is that accurate? Surprised he's missed 27, honestly thought it was much lower than that. Machine on penalties.139th Penaldo of his career, out of 166 taken.

The thing that separates him for me is when all the chips are down and you need something from the game or it’s a huge moment in the game like this one or even the pen vs Juve A few years ago in the 95th min or the freekick vs Spain in the World Cup, it’s like he was made for these moments!Honored to share my home country with this guy. I run out of adjectives to classify him.
Time and time again he's always there, and the few times he fails, I can't fault him because he just steps up so many times...
This is not about whether he played an extraordinary game or not today. It doesn't matter. We needed him, once again, today, and he was there.
It’s Ronaldo…did you really think that would happen? Come on nowGoing out as it stands
Yeah, his penalty misses are Juve (5), Madrid (13), United (3), Portugal (6).Is that accurate? Surprised he's missed 27, honestly thought it was much lower than that. Machine on penalties.

He rises above the pressure like no one I have ever seen before. The only comp mentality wise plays a different sport which is MJ. They both share that mystique about them.
Yeah man. That's exactly it. People talk about looking only at stats, but Ronaldo has that *something* you mentioned that you can't quite put your finger on and it's so fascinating. It's his body language on field too, his drive, the taunting of atlético and then scoring 3 goals on the 2nd leg, the whole persona, then he goes and does it time and time again, and he just oozes this aura when the chips are down that it's okay, I'm here, it'll be okay. The thing that separates him for me is when all the chips are down and you need something from the game or it’s a huge moment in the game like this one or even the pen vs Juve A few years ago in the 95th min or the freekick vs Spain in the World Cup, it’s like he was made for these moments!

This is the whole thing that just edges it for me for Ronaldo above Messi, but I understand that unless that you follow this guy each and every game, it's not something you'd pick up on and actually enjoy watching. It helps I'm Portuguese too but hey... It's my personal preference. His brain is what I appreciate most about him.
Same thing in tennis for me. I can concede Federer is pure magic and I love Nadal too, but Djoko is my favorite guy and personal greatest because of much of the same reasons.
Fair enough if true I’ve personally never watched tennis so I’m not educated enough to debate or dispute that.Novak Djokovic is the greatest mental giant.
One game to decide my life I would want him on my team over anyone who has ever played the sport.Bang on.

I mainly watch Basketball football and American football and Ronaldo to mentality wise is right there with MJ, Kobe and Brady.
If they have a documentary on Novak I’ll watch it
I think age and the fact he changed positions again so he could play at the highest level possible in his later years like he is doing now.His play outside the box is very average, it was much better at United. He used to be great to watch. I think Mourinho turned him into a 9. Shame.

That’s actually very exciting,It's a very complicated thing... Imagine Ronaldo vs Messi but it's 3 people instead of 2. And all 3 of them breaking records every day. Then you Have Federer, which is basically Messi, just pure magic and control, Nadal which is the athletic version or Ronaldo, and Djoko which basically is that psychological force of nature that Ronnie is too. They have 21, 20 and 20 grand slams each. So yeah... Probably sport's greatest unending debate right now in addition to you know who.
Djoko is also this ridiculously 'clutch' player, mentally. Definitely up there.

That’s actually very exciting,
So are all 3 of them widely considered the 3 greatest tennis players of all time?
Who is considered the best of the 3 by the vast majority? Or is it split?
