Choked badly in stoppage time with that penalty. Not the start they wanted
Its not getting to him

Agreed. The sad thing is that this is down to him, and him alone. If he had any sense of humility he would have stayed with us, accepted his role as a bit part player/super sub type role who could have been a huge inspiration to the young players. He could have retired a United legend. What the feck is he doing over there? Absolutely horrendous way to end a legendary career.
But the issue is, you've got people like Roy Keane, supposedly a tough, uncompromising, no-nonsense type of person, who was fanboying over CR7 (a former kid teammate of his, FFS) and saying stuff on national TV like 'Ronaldo shouldn't be sitting on the bench.'Oh dear. This is just getting sad now. He's become a complete parody in these last few years. He just needs to retire and stop making a fool of himself.

Instead, his ego has ballooned to stratospheric proportions to the extent he thinks he should still be the main man at nearly 40, and now we get..... whatever this is.
Yeah I must admit I don't understand Keane's comments on Ronaldo. Keane strikes me as the sort to not be afraid of anyone, yet he refuses to speak a bad word about Ronaldo. It's almost as if he's afraid of getting on Ronaldo's bad side? Bizarre. But the issue is, you've got people like Roy Keane, supposedly a tough, uncompromising, no-nonsense type of person, who was fanboying over CR7 (a former kid teammate of his, FFS) and saying stuff on national TV like 'Ronaldo shouldn't be sitting on the bench.'
Erm, yes he should Roy. If he's freaking 38 years old. There might be times when someone that old needs to sit on the damn bench at this level.
All of this stuff from people in his circle, and people who should know better, feeds his ego.
Money. What the feck is he doing over there? Absolutely horrendous way to end a legendary career.
I think it makes more sense if you see it that Keane sees himself like Ronaldo in how he exited the club by talking truth to power and getting sacked, he thinks he was mishandled too by the club when he was ageing and the club showed no respect for him after all he’d done for it, wouldn’t be surprised if he was projecting that with Ronaldo.Yeah I must admit I don't understand Keane's comments on Ronaldo. Absolutely this. It looks like there’s absolutely no joy in his game. And why would there be in Saudi? Contrast to Messi in the USA, getting “the band back together again” with Busquets, Alba & Suarez…winning titles (albeit insignificant ones), but he seems to be enjoying the twilight of his career with some of his best friends. I suppose it would help if Ronaldo was actually close to anyone.Poor guy, Messi will always haunt him. Probably someone with write Messi in is grave.
He should just retire and enjoy the money and do cringy YouTube videos.

Yeah didn’t mean to sound a dcik….but it doesn’t seem like he was extraordinarily close with anyone of his past teammates. I think Evra might be one.Last part was harsh, but probably true!
It is odd, isn't it? I think he just really admires Ronaldo's drive and dedication. But that shouldn't stop Keane from criticising him (if it is warranted), and he seems incapable of that for some reason, when he has no problem taking shots at literally anyone else.Yeah I must admit I don't understand Keane's comments on Ronaldo. This. He needs another 90 goals or so so will probably play another 2 or 3 years. It's not the money, it's probably a stupid obsession with getting 1000 goals now. Presumably he thought he'd be banging in hat-tricks every game over there.
Don't know how much they're paying him but can't be worth this shit.
Can't be worth what? He obviously loves playing the game, gets paid a fortune, gets the attention he craves etc. Having some random screaming manically Messi Messi Messi isn't the worst punishment in the word. Caf's obsession with him is bizarre, let him play out his career in a less than farmers league, hope he gets his 1000 goal dream and enjoys his retirement when he gets there.Don't know how much they're paying him but can't be worth this shit.
If its not becaus of money he can get the 1k goals playing in MLS.
I would argue that the Saudi league is definitely easier to score in. So probably his best chance. If its not becaus of money he can get the 1k goals playing in MLS.
my favorite season of his too (so many happy moments) - and that's why despite all his bozo antics Ronaldo will always have a special place for me:
Ronnie is a all time great. Pobga was a great player at his best. That other guy who leeches off making antics around great footballers needs to feck off.
Eh, he isn't leeching off of anyone. He makes content for his platform/audience (which isn't us - it's for a younger demographic), and the players are aware of this and are happy to participate because it gives them access to said audience of millions of kids. It's symbiotic. There's a disconnect between the content he makes/antics and people of a certain age - but again, we aren't his demographic - I simply posted the video because I agree with Pogba's assessment about that Ronaldo season.
I reckon Ronaldo would be MAGA if he was a yank
What would Ronaldo do if he was elected president of the USA?No he would be running for president. SIUUUING at rallies.
Yes, but not before clearing his name from the databaseWhat would Ronaldo do if he was elected president of the USA?
A nationwide ban on the name Messi and free botox injections to all men over 35?
Getting paid an obscene amount of money. What the feck is he doing over there? Absolutely horrendous way to end a legendary career.

Almost keeping up with Mitrovic when it comes to scoring goals over there, but far behind when it comes to winning trophies....
Mitrovic's won 5 trophies since he joined the Sportswashing champions last season - Ronnie 0 trophies since he joined Al-Nassr 6 months earlier.
Ronnie living the dream.
