Cristiano Ronaldo - Much Ado About Al Nassr

He most definitely is not comfortably bigger than Raúl and few others. A lot consider him that high sure but you’re making it sound like a unanimous view which it is not.
Of course it's not unanimous, duh. But yeah, he's bigger than Raúl to most

"Club legends" do not refer to themselves as slaves because they want to join another club, and aren't allowed to because they're under contract.

"Club legends" do not start fluttering their eyelashes at Madrid the moment they hit their prime, and then spend their prime years at Madrid while using United as a tool whenever he wants a new contract.

"Club legends" do not bitch about the club and manager to Piers Morgan because they're upset that they aren't getting their own way.

Ronaldo is not a club legend.

Is George Best a club legend?

No they perform on pitch, which is exactly what he did and he was vital to probably most successful period United have had.

I dont know. Ronaldo leaving the stadium when on the bench as a sub when during the game vs Spurs while we winning and playing was one of the most unprofessional actions ive seen from a Man Utd player in the modern era. Especially from a player who´s hailed for his mentality. Giggs is a legend despite how he conducted himself off the pitch. Its for me so say that about Ronaldo. He´s was iconic player rather than a legend imo, but I can understand the grey area since the obvious comparison people will make is George Best. But Ronaldo has spent about rougly half his time at United talking about leaving. He´s just not up there with Bobby Charlton, Cantona, Giggs, Robson or Scholes etc. He would be if he truly was more professional.

Not sure which side is which here... both sides are cnts most of the time, but that's a whole other discussion.

Apart from Messi’s own tax evasion case what makes him a cnut most of the time?

He rarely says anything.

Agree. Legend of the game who achieved great things at Manchester United before achieving even more outside of Manchester United but not a club legend to me.

"I think millionaires should pay less tax."

"I also think that, but feck you."
Nah, it'd be:
"I think subjects other people should pay our taxes"
"Wym, they already do?"
"THIS IS WHY WE NEED A WALL!!!!"

Thoughts on the possibility of him returning to european football ?

Not sure if Al Nassr is going to win a title this season and he may get angry.

People that started watching football from 2010 might think that Ronaldo is 2nd biggest club legend. He isn’t. One of the greatest players but no 2nd place legend.

Personally my favorite player from Real Madrid was Zinedine Zidane but Ronaldo has achieved more for the club than Raul, and it shouldn't be something so controversial.

This is how I see it. My regular pub drinking partner sees it differently so I just shut my mouth.

I'd also like to add to that truthful list. Club Legends also weren't close to signing for City before we came in and paid him more to "come home".

For me there is a difference between what players achieved and legends. You could win lot of trophies but not become legend in my opinion. Would you rate players like Hierro, Sanchis, Raul, Casillias bigger legends than Ronaldo? Or Zidane, Michel, Carlos, Butragueno, Guti? Legends are special players that have done lot for the club, more than just trophies. So it is not simple. Ronaldo is one of best ever but biggest legend?

Denis law played for City and scored a goal that relegated us. I might be mistaken about whether it relegated. Law to his credit clearly wasnt happy about that and he actually did need the money from City. Back then only the absolute super stars like Pelé and George Best were super rich

They're completely different situations and disrespectful to Denis Law to compare the 2. Denis Law started with City and gave his best years to us and we allowed him to go wherever he wanted. Ronaldo willing to sign for City after leaving Juventus is more akin to what Carlos Tevez did.

I think it depends on who you ask but Ronaldo and I wouldn't personally call Ronaldo the biggest legend but he should be up there and if someone considers him I can be ok with that. Winning stuff for the club is one of the best things a player can do for the club, he was very driven and very professional, he was surrounded by very good players but he did a good job at absorbing all the pressure and performing most of the time when it mattered.

Being objective he did a lot more than the likes of Zidane and Raul but he hasn't even retired yet so I think is too recent to consider him a 'legend' so as time passes it will be more clear how people regard his legacy with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is a self absorbed narcissist that has to make everything about him.

George Best was an alcoholic, and his illness affected his mentality and decision making.

Two totally different situations.

Yeah, both ultimately shat on the club in different ways.

I think when you have at least two different Madrid fans telling you the same thing about their club and none denying, it's probably time to concede.

Looks like Utd is absolutely chock full of Club legends! Players who haven't called themselves slaves or moved to RM or talked to Piers Morgan. Bonus points if they camp out on the Utd roster for their entire career, I suppose.

Ahh, remember the old days when "legend" had something to do with the quality of their play?
