Cristiano Ronaldo - Much Ado About Al Nassr

No. 1000 is going to be a penalty against Al-Khaleej when he is 42 years old.

Why? He’s still a club legend, and one of our greatest ever players.
"Club legends" do not refer to themselves as slaves because they want to join another club, and aren't allowed to because they're under contract.

"Club legends" do not start fluttering their eyelashes at Madrid the moment they hit their prime, and then spend their prime years at Madrid while using United as a tool whenever he wants a new contract.

"Club legends" do not bitch about the club and manager to Piers Morgan because they're upset that they aren't getting their own way.

Ronaldo is not a club legend.

Out of kings cup

Oops! Wasn't it technically a match tying penalty if they were losing 1-0?

Either way

Fun fact: King's cup is officially called The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup. King's Cup much more catchy I suppose.

Madrid based Marca, awarding Messi greatest player of all time award.

Wonder if the weird fan base will cry corruption to this has well.
Marca is owned by Urbano Cairo, who also owns Torino, whose main rival is Juventus

It's a conspiracy!

Note: this is what a big section of madrid fans actually believe
Gnoccis are used similar to pasta, but they are dumplings made out of potatoes. Pasta is made from wheat. And yes, this is more important than Ronaldo's YouTube!
As an Italian I am the ultimate authority on this. Hear my decree: gnocchi count as pasta. They're not, but we're gonna count them anyways

This has been done to death but the vast majority of supporters to not view him as a club legend.
You might be overestimating the levels of devotion of the vast majority of our supporters. The vast majority of our supporters have never set foot in OT and think he's easily the best player to have ever played for the club, and a huge chunk of them think Ten Hag was the prick in the situation with his exit. I don't agree with that, but I'd also say he's without question a legend because he won the Ballon D'or at the club and God only knows when we will see that happen again. Fair enough if people think his behaviour the second time around negates that, for me it never will. I'll be lucky to see a player as good at United again in my lifetime and I'm not even 30 yet!

totally agree with this. had partial dislike the first time he tried to push a move through. can't believe his fan boys belittle our great club in backing him still. Def not a club legend

he’s shown the strength of the saudi league. think of how many important penalties he’s scored in europe without so much as a single head of sweat reaching his arse crack, yet the occasion can still be so big that it can get to him.

Oh yes. I can't even imagine what pressure there must be when you're taking a penalty that could mean an exit from The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup if you missed.

A Champion's League final penalty pales in comparison.

not one, but two mosques.

Real madrid legend.
It was his boyhood dream to go there and we treated him as a poorly slave.
Club legends in my eyes are not always the "best players" but the most loyal ones that loves the club and fights for the badge.
Cristiano fights for himself.
THe way he acted like a manchild before leaving a second time after the United fans always showing him love was disgraceful.

Couldn’t have said it much better

The likes of Gary Neville is the legend United fans deserved.
It's actually the sign of a proud and big club to not blindly take whatever just because the player has been successful. He was much more successful for Real than he was for us and he left us for them and yet, his status is not as big over there as players who achieved far less. Big clubs with legacy and history are not overly grateful cheer leaders for numbers and stats alone.

If it was about numbers and achievements alone, he should stand with Di Stefano at the very top of Real's legends. Does he? I think many consider Raúl a bigger legend.

This message should be pinned to the top! Well said!

He is comfortably the second biggest club legend among players. Bigger than Raúl, a local hero and madridista from birth who won 3 CL and was the catalyst in bringing the club back to the top of Europe

He most definitely is not comfortably bigger than Raúl and few others. A lot consider him that high sure but you’re making it sound like a unanimous view which it is not.

People that started watching football from 2010 might think that Ronaldo is 2nd biggest club legend. He isn’t. One of the greatest players but no 2nd place legend.
