I also think the only reason we won't release him/terminate his contract is because we suspect he wants to feck off to Chelsea.

At this point we're not getting a fee. And if he goes somewhere "on loan" it is to facilitate another player coming here (Osimhen). If he signs for Chelsea and we don't have to pay anything, it's Chelsea's problem.

Still it’s a situation where we pay Osimhen wages plus a part of Ronaldo wages for a useful player instead of continuing to pay Ronaldo wages for a finished player.

If there's an obligation to buy next summer then it's not that much different than a normal structured deal tbf
I don't want Osimhen on loan. If he doesn't do anything for us then it'll have been a waste.
If he kills it then Napoli take him back (which they will because Ronaldo isn't getting any younger) then I will be sad.
