I think they'll look to get a 420 run lead before declaring, unless of course they're bowled out.

Reckon this will be a draw, especially if Pattinson can't bowl due to injury.

Yep. SA will have big decisions for that game. Kallis will most likely be out, Duminy is already out, Tahir has to be dropped but then who comes in as spinner? At least Philander should be back.

Also, depending on how he bats this innings, I think SA need to consider bringing in a WK and let AB just concentrate on his batting.

Anyone know if Mitchell Johnson is injured or has he been dropped? Haven't seen him play in a quite a while.

The tactics to defend and not score runs may bore some but I love this aspect of test cricket. It's like a war of attrition - can the batters concentrate for the entire day and not make mistakes or will the constant pressure and effort of the bowlers prevail? 1 wicket and everything changes, but when will that wicket come? As I say, I love this battle that you only get in test cricket, it's a real test of the players' skills.

Still think the Aussies will win this by tea time.
 
woke up randomly at 5:30 today morning.. had a feeling this was going to be a draw.. saw about 10 overs of solid blocking from Faf and AB.

Watching now, again. Think I'll take the day off. Feel lazy and I think this could be a good test.

Great debut. Very good player. Technically sound and has attacking ability as well. Could have done more to pick up singles in the end though.

Super effort by SA, will give them a lift now but I don't think they will win the series without Kallis.
 
Bit of a rubbish way to end the game with a draw. SA did well to hold out in the end though. It will be interesting to see if the Australian's carry their momentum into the last test. Another draw would be highly crap though
 
Superb effort from du Plessis, magnificent knock to secure the draw and to bat against his natural game of being attacking and taking it to the bowlers.

Will be tough for the Aussies to recover from this, only 3 days until the final test begins and their bowlers will probably be exhausted.
 
Their bowling is going to be world class in 3 years.

Hawkeye is a joke. Smith crouching hit just over half way up ball magically skyrocketing over the stumps.

Would have hit middle 3/4 of the way up. Need to scrap that review shite. Put it in the hands of the umpires.
 
Australia really need a break through at the moment. Amal and Smith are slowly taking the game away from the aussies
