Bell's had a really nice innings.
He's actually a nice batsman to watch... I think my doubts are influenced by the fact that he looks like a frightened rodent
500 up. They might as well go mental now, Swann's our no. 11 and what are the chances of India getting 600 in two innings?
So what do you reckon here, declare at 600 or try to bat until tea?
Plus if Bell's anywhere near 300 they'll let him get it
Why hasn't Strauss declared?
Wants to ensure the follow-on. Remember that India haven't had a 300 innings in this series yet.
It's nice to see one of them up for it though
I reckon Broad and co will get something out of this pitch, so I can't see India getting anywhere near 300 in their next two innings. 550 is enough.
Well, yeah, 550 could be enough, they'll need 350 to avoid the follow on at this point, but they might just for once have a good innings. England really don't want to bat again if they want to win this.
Looks like we'll lose another session here, so a 4 day test in effect if it holds off for the next two days."We suspect there is a risk of some sort of rain falling at any time between now and tea. But there shouldn't be any more interruptions after tea, for the rest of the match. It's just this next couple of hours as The Oval is on the periphery of this block of weather."
Lets bowl them out for 15.
Ok, 15 minutes, lets see how if England can knock down before the close of play.
