Haha, no I remember it from my quizzing days.

How far did you get in the ESPN Quiz? We won three TV rounds, lost in the National Semi's.

Naah, We lost in the first TV round itself. Qualified by coming second in Mumbai.

By word, some of you guys were quick in that anagram rounds. We sucked at speed and never whacked the buzzer in time. Then lost all confidence. Scored 50 in the last round when 1 participant had to come down though. But we weren't exactly the brightest bulbs around in sports. (Someone knew all winners of ALL f1 races in the last three years). I've stood second in a national geography quiz though :P

I was really hoping Langer would slip through. And Gillespie too. Sucks. The Aussie dream has been well and truly destroyed now.

I know the feeling. I wanted one of Holding, Garner or Roberts to go with Marshall too but I got greedy when Lara was available and decided to let it go a turn thinking "surely one of the three will come back down." Famous last words.

With MJJ it was him missing his pick that caused him missing out on Waqar. Missing a second round pick can be brutal.

Onzi
I toyed around between him and Yousuf. But both me and TheReg prefer Yousuf. I think both were equally talented. Inzi was just lazy is all.

Inzi played better under pressure and with lesser partners than yousif imo. Tje amount of times inzi saved us was beyond awesome. And some of his innings were drool worthy. Him and yousif basically carried our batting but inzqmam went on another level after becoming captain.

Toss up between Waugh and Langer for me...went with my gut and relative productivity in the end. And of course, Hayden - Langer.

Wasn't planning on Boucher but then had a quick look and don't see many options left. Happy to get one with most test dismissals.

Its a good pick. Like openers, genuine lack of top keepers. Boucher wasnt really top notch like say Gilly but there's a genuine lack of top talent in that department.

Think Andy Flower and Gilly stand out as geniune top batting wicketkeepers.

The rest were in different class.

Gilly is the standout. Andy was a better batsman but I'd say Boucher was a better keeper.

Flower had an higher average inspite of playing for a much inferior team than Australia.
I think he's quite underrated as a batsman. Boucher as a pure wicketkeeper was the best one around.

Yeah, he was a brilliant batsman. One of the best players of spin. Extremely tough to get out!

OMG! I will need some time now to pick. My 1st, 2nd, 3rd choices all being picked up in last 3-4 picks.

Ya, I have PMed him. Dunno where he has disappeared. I was expecting to be done with my next round pick by now.

IL has had a 'mare here. Should have PMed his picks to someone. Unfortunately he still has another 4 hours.

It is 6th day I think and we are yet to complete 6 rounds. By this speed, it will another 6 days before we finish draft. This is my first one, do drafts take these long usually?

The last ones should pass by quicker, hopefully. This is taking inordinately long.

Couldn't you have told them you had a draft pick to make?

I tried. But apparently re-reading submitted material for inaccuracies is more important. However less important than having a TWO HOUR meeting on it pointing out that we shouldn't delay these things. cnuts.
