Yeah I am not sure why Aldo took Jayasuriaya before Anwar
He provides a bowling option and there's not much between them as batsmen.
True. Forgot about Sanath's bowling but Anwar is a better batsman
Rate Anwar as one of the best ODI players I've seen. Probably not as brilliant in the longer version, but he was still very good.
I actually disagree with that. I rated Anwar much more than Jayauriya as a btasman. But i would have picked Jayasuriya first too - for the part time spin.
Ghaliboy has 6 hours as I assume he didn't PM picks. I'll be here all day, so send me 2/3 chices (I have 3 choices from MJJ) and I can make the next picks once his time expires.
Yes, I had given serious thought about picking him either in turn 6 or 7 but being short on proper batsmen decided against it. It was either a good allrounder, if available, or proper batman for me.
I'm not sure of much more. Both Anwar and Sanath shone more in ODIs and were fairly dependable in tests.
As a test batsman, Anwar > Jayasuriya IMO but going for Jayasuriya between those two makes sense given Jayasuriya could bowl.
I'm not disagreeing, just don't think there's a massive difference.

I don't see any point waiting another 3 hours for ghali.. there is no way he will be up by then.
If we don't wait 3 hours and all the Indians after him have a go, he might miss out on a lot of turns. If you give him the stipulated 6 hours, he's probably likely to rejoin at the same point.
