Conte | Spurs Manager

Incredible that they've had Mourinho, Nuno and Conte back to back.

Must be eyeing up whichever of Simeone and Southgate are out of a job first when Conte's rattle exits the pram.
Please, please let them get Simeone

He’s Conte but worse in my opinion. I don’t think even Levy is stupid enough to go for Southgate.

I have no idea how this fanbase who had to suffer 2.5 years of Mourinho ball genuinely wanted us to hire an even more self-destructing and poundland version of him.

He did a good job getting them to the top four but really had Arsenal to thank for bottling it. Yet Arsenal come on since then, bit like Spurs did in 2016 when they wobbled.

Kulu is a big miss but their midfield is so poor. Makes it harder for Kane and Son.

Can't wait to hear the usual suspects defend this diabolical football, and talk up the manager even when all the evidence is pointing towards its trash.

They've equalised here, but no way any spurs man can be happy with these tactics especially when they show they can score.

So defensive and negative all season.

I've thought the same a lot this season while watching Spurs.
Yeah during last season I was worried due to top 4 and Ronaldo we would go for a more “pragmatic” manager. But I would almost find it impossible to watch this rubbish if it was United.

This Spurs team is going to get destroyed by any half decent European team.

Tonight's only convinced me that this Spurs are heading to be found out.

Arsenal and United have certainly shown them up so far

Say what you want about Conte but they keep going to the final whistle. Another late win and I guess he's a genius.

Counterorder again, piranhas! All in to the Amorim thread!!

I've never wanted Conte but watching this spurs makes me never want Conte ever.

Nothing changed, he's still shit in Europe and will likely challenge for top 4 til the end of the season.

No way that they catch top 4. Absolutely no way.
When set pieces are your only attacking plan then you are fecked sooner or later

Thing is, given Spurs finished top of their CL group, they could draw easy opponent and go through to the quartefinals and that would be the 1st Conte has done that with some team since 2012/13 season with Juve.

Anyways, they don't play pretty football but being 3rd in PL and going through to knockout stages of CL for 1st time in 3 years is good. Imagine Spurs beat Liverpool on Sunday and then also Leeds week later, it would be 10 wins out of 15 league games and a solid situation going into WC break.

It's all about results at the end of the day and although we can play much better than we are, we are still doing well and I'm sure with better players coming in the future is bright.

I’m happy Spurs will remain in European competition in 2023. That’s more games in the fight for top 4. Conte, with more time to prepare for PL, is a dangerous animal.
