This.
There's an interest element but apart from the fans travelling dressed as Leprechauns, i don't think anyone seriously thinks McGregor can win.
Paddy Power always like to make a show dont they
These wankers had typical classless promotional stunt today, paying out on Mayweather already under the slogan: "Always bet on black".
I fecking hate them and everything they stand for.
I'm gonna go sleep and wake up for the main fight. What time is it likely to start?
I think the stoppage is there for Floyd if he wants it - not a clean KO but a stoppage. I know he has brittle hands nowadays but i think McGregor will tire before half way and end up a sitting duck.
I have big bets on Mayweather TKO and under 9.5 rounds. Placed them when the lines were released so evens and 11/10 respectively. Also have Mayweather to win as the last leg of a few accumulators producing pretty nice payouts.
The more reading I do on this fight the more I believe Mayweather will take this to the decision, but I also feel he'll be able to finish the fight, if he wants to, at any stage after the 5th round or so.
Now I'm inclined to cover my bets on Mayweather by decision which is currently 3/1 at betfair.
Do any resident Boxing experts have opinions on my predicament.

I'm not sure I agree with those who claim McGregor can take a punch. We've not seen enough evidence of that yet. Diaz, in both fights, rocked him numerous times with punches and slaps alike. He will be stunned by the speed and precision of Mayweather, and particularly his counter-hooks when McGregor thinks he sees an opening.
He simply will not see them coming, just like Hatton, Gatti, Canelo, De La Hoya, Mosley and Marquez, to name a few, before him.
So what are the best bets out there for this fight?
McGregor not landing a punch is at 17.00 currently. Will Mayweather finish him within 6 rounds or is it possible it's fixed and will go the distance? There's isn't a chance of Conor landing a lucky punch and winning within the first three rounds, is there?
Shame he isn't fighting Golovkin. Not gonna lie, I'm hoping he gets CM Punk'd. Unfortunately, I don't think Floyd is the guy to do that.
Should be intresting as fool. I don't for a second believe Floyd is going to come out and go after Connor. Heard this lie to many times. Reckon he'll do his usual of just doing enough and eek out rounds.
It's intresting people giving the speed, footwork and reflexes to Floyd. I mean Floyd obviously has speed but it's the weapon it is because he knows what you're going to throw before you know what you're going to throw and that is where his speed and reflexes come from. Naturally I'd say Connor is the faster guy and what makes it intresting is will his style of fighting cause issues for Floyd.
If he goes in there Point Karate style and uses his speed of footwork and range over Floyd then Floyd will have to go after him which is what makes the fight intresting as it'll force Floyd in to Mcgregors world of counter punching other than Floyd forcing McGregor.
The Lomachenko vs Dillanshaw spring full vid was intresting because for a good few rounds Dillanshaw was striking but was out of Lomachenko's range(boxing range) after a few rounds Lomachenko adjusted and had to hunt Dillanshaw down and close off the ring and back him up to get at him which he eventually did and then it really started to show. However McGregor is bigger, stronger and I'd say faster with better footwork.
I just want to see what happens because realisticaly nobody has a clue. We think we know based on what we've seen of Floyd, but this is a fight and anything could happen.
I think you'll be fine betting on a Mayweather stoppage. As @Steve the Red said the referee is aware that McGregor is an 0-0 boxer and I don't see a professional referee letting him become a punching bag.I have big bets on Mayweather TKO and under 9.5 rounds. Placed them when the lines were released so evens and 11/10 respectively. Also have Mayweather to win as the last leg of a few accumulators producing pretty nice payouts.

Very impressed with Mayweather there. Spoke humbly and graciously.
Yep. He knows how to run one of these things from a large scale boxing perspective. Conor seemed to be learning from Floyd here.
I quite liked when Mayweather was telling the guy to shut up on his team and then Conor joined in...like they're mates for a second! Also good seeing Dana squirm at the thought of Conor wanting more of a stakeholder role in businesses and probably knowing he can now demand what he wants.
I've always felt that the owners of UFC will eventually push Dana out and bring Conor in, in some capacity. He's far better at promoting than Dana is. Dana's style is better suited for the early days of the Fertitia/UFC era, whereas Conor is far better in the present. If the new owners are smart, they will find a way to gradually transition Conor into their leadership structure.
