I think he needs to go but I can't help but feel he'll need a big hug and a tissue on the way out. Every picture shown he looks on the verge of tears.

Do a David Moyes. Try to go to bed, but end up sleeping in the garden shed, and then convince yourself you need 2 years to try and make it hard and find your way back to the bed.

Seeing him like that actually saddens me a touch, he's not a bad bloke deep down, some of his turning on the players and ex manager this season just the acts of a desperate man who had no idea how to crawl out of the hole he was in.

Queiroz? That'd be a turn up. Could understand if he was still number 2 but...

What have you done with the real Empire with his long Moyes defensive posts? Or you some other guy?

They were not posts defending Moyes but posts defending Moyes' few positives that other people unnecessarily tried to deny. There is a big difference here, I have never been back or sack Moyes but instead back the board.

I have maintained all along the board are in the best position to make a decision and I will back whatever decision they make. I made this clear to you also, and I made it clear to everybody else. David Moyes had under performed and whatever action the board take I will back because they are best placed to make a decision.

Just like Fellaini, who I defended when somebody called him a league two level footballer at best (but I'm not a fan of, in fact he scares me when he plays). David Moyes I defended when people were trying to make out he was a terrible, terrible manager and the positives he had achieved such as his away performances and strong results against lower teams were down to pure luck (which can be tricky fixtures, see Liverpool years gone by and Chelsea + City recently), I have always stated I will back the board's decision.

If the reports of them meeting with Klopp's representatives and Louis van Gaal's too, in order to discuss the possibility of taking up the job then they clearly were doing something right. You see, we don't have information like this, had the board opted to stick with Moyes they surely would have had a solid reason to do so.

:(.

I want him gone as much as anyone but the heart in me feels deeply for Moyes.

Nicky Butt as interim assistant, if they don't perform he can get the hot tea pot out.

Sun going with the "HUMOYLIATED" headline tomorrow

You never answered my question from earlier. If a United win would give Liverpool the title and be meaningless for United, would you want them to lose or would that make you "a modern shitty fan" as Randall says.
