Confirmed: Moyes sacked.

So the Everton fans singing " you're getting sacked in the morning " were wrong. It was actually at least a couple of hours into the afternoon.

I don't see how it can't happen now, matter of when, not if. Sooner rather than later I hope. Already the mood seems to have lifted completely and these are just unconfirmed reports.

Yeah it's like many fans didn't want to say it but we all knew it. Once word got around then all of a sudden the attitude turns to we had to do it.

Hard to go back to, give him more time after we've all accepted it.

New York Times now stating that United are to part ways with Moyes......looks like once NYSE are notified, if not already, the sacking will be announced officially.

I've found myself helping around the house in the last hour. I've been offering to tidy the shed up, cutting the grass and asking anyone if they want a cuppa. I'm so happy right now.

I just hope you don't suffer the same fate mate
Moyes' being shit has nothing to do with fate. He got a chance on a top club despite he didn't deserve it, he completely bottled it. He has only himself to blame.

Maybe so, I dunno, he isn't even remotely likeable. If your mate said that you wouldn't bat an eyelid, but on here everyone seems obsessed with being "classy".

Anyway, hopefully the club won't make another monumental balls up.
No need to be personal though really. I'll be delighted that he's no longer United manager, but it doesn't make him a wanker/cnut/twat/fecker or deserving or an unnecessary insult. He was simply the wrong man for the job.

My mate works for ladbrokes and tells me they've opened bets at 500/1 for Howard Webb to replace Moyes

I know it's wrong to take delight in someone losing his job, but i am ecstatic. He will be comfortable with the compensation he receives, our club can start rebuilding from the damage that he has inflicted over the last or so.

Looks nailed on at this stage.

I feel for the man in a way, obviously he was never going to turn down the opportunity to manage here, and he seems like a good guy, a very hard worker etc, but sadly the job was just way over his head and his overall attitude this season has shown that, he probably knows it himself going by the way he acts in interviews.

Sorry mate, late to the party.

Are Nahelai and Tomalonge on suicide watch yet?
Tomalonge is still defending him and arguing that it is too soon to sack him and how United fans will hate the next managers as much as him.

nahelai has just vanished.

Jamie Redknapp was never closer to becoming our manager.

It has been a 'fun' ride. He has been a nightmare for every United supporter and a dream come true, making the wildest abu fanfictions on RAWK a reality.

I hope several people who like reliable hard working Brits with a determined face and a nice resume at nothing clubs have learned a valuable lesson: sometimes the obvious choice, the 'muppet's' choice, is the moeda foeking right choice.

How can you call this exciting?
I have always liked Moyes and respect him as a football man. Never once have I slagged him off.

But I see no future with him and have been saying that for a few weeks now. I am excited for a new future for man utd and I hope Moyes gets a good job ASAP

It was always going to be hard for the next manager after SAF, atleast thats out the way now, next man has a clean slate

Could be ... but having fun at seeing someone getting the sack is sick to say the least. Some people over here who wanted him out, behaved quite well, however there is a small minority who are actually enjoying seeing someone career being destroyed.

This is how I feel too
