The Documentary 2.5 (second disc) has leaked.

Edit: Shit goes hard. Better even than the first disc. That Nas song is amazing.

Had one listen, but imo 2.5 is better than 2.

Recent Pharmacy with Snoop was great.

Dre says it's his dream to do a Europe tour called Beats and Rhymes with Snoop, Kendrick and Eminem and he's going to try make it happen

Wouldn't mind such tour to be fair, Kendrick's concert in Kraków was fire and would love to see him live again. Live version of Backseat Freestyle was fecking sick.

After listening to the Doc 2 and 2.5 it really made me appreciate the Doc 1 even more. The new ones are good albums but it's like we never get albums like The Documentary anymore.

Agree. I guess it's the evolution of the genre (or devolution, depending on your taste), i unconsciously despise most of these new age producers, beats, flows etc.

Which is why i'm beginning to cherish projects like 'TPAB' and 'Doris' as they incorporate that old sound. Even 'Compton' had a new age sound.

I didn't really like Compton that much to be honest bar about 4 or 5 tracks. I can't believe its actually a Dre album when i listen to it, where is the funk ?

Even TPAB whiles obviously brilliant, it lacked verses from Kendrick to much for my liking.

Doris ? Who released that ? Might have to acquire it.

Yeah. Only replay Compton, because it's a Dre album and that Xzibit verse was flames.

KL was so heavily invested in the concept, that he didn't come with the bars ( not in the way i wanted anyway)

Earl Sweatshirt. If MF DOOM is up your alley.

Thanks.

I'm getting the album now, if i like it you can become my go to guy for new albums as the only latest rap albums i listen to are mainly new releases from my favourite rappers.

Why didn't he get Dr Dre, Timbaland etc to produce?

Why doesn't someone like Dre, Timbaland or Premo for example produce a whole album for people like Kendrick Lamar, Nas or Andre 3000 or greats like that. It feels like we are missing out.

I don't care, I'm just going to go ahead and say it, 'Take Care'is a fecking classic.

Take Care & NWTS are classics.
I wouldn't be surprised if Views From The 6 is too.

Also video for Hotline Bling has dropped - but true to form, Drake's music videos are just always average/forgettable, and he dances like my uncle

These superstars just reach the top and suddenly think they are the most talented individuals of all time, Drake dancing, Kanye singing etc.

In regards to the Hotline Bling vid, Drake can do what he likes. That man is money right now, think he is proving a point: I'm gonna do whatever I like and you're gonna eat it. Step up or piss off.

It's admirable in a sense
