At the moment, he's keen on joining United (his agent's been visiting Carrington regularly), but if Liverpool are this far ahead, then Gakpo may just decide to join Liverpool.

Because he isn't really a striker, and we have literally 3 players who are similar ish to him in Sancho/Rashford/martial. All different players, but he is a bit of each without being as good as any of them. So it's pointless for us.

Not really that arsed about this tbh.He’s had a decent WC but whenever I’ve seen him previously I can’t say I was too impressed, plus the fact he’s more of a left winger which we have more than enough of. We’re in need of an out and out striker, Gakpo may be that in time but he’s not currently.
