We're apparently also skint with owners looking to sell. Might be pretty mundane reasons not to sign anyone
I want us to spend money, I refuse to look at logical reasons.

Fair enoughI want us to spend money, I refuse to look at logical reasons.
Darwin Nunez, which is an absolute tragedy for any fans sat in either corner of the Stretford End who might've been looking for a stray ball to take home as a souvenir.Who did we get beaten to in the summer?
To me he doesn't make a massive amount of sense for us so it's not a loss. I'd like to see someone natural down the middle. Not a bit of this and a bit of that, primarily off the left, or a "project striker."

I don't know, fortunately that's not my job as I don't think I'd be very good at it. We have people employed to figure this stuff out.WHO!!!!
Probably. Don't disagree. But my original point is that he hasn't done anything to warrant double or even 50+ ( he was agreed for 31m in the summer. )Would have been way more than that if we wanted him, as has been reported.
Or we are somehow seen as a lesser alternative to LiverpoolEither it's a move to force our hand, or we've decided he's not the right target at this time and moved onto somebody else.
How does that work when we have an agreement with the player and Liverpool hasn't (so far)?Or we are somehow seen as a lesser alternative to Liverpool
Don't think Klopp gives a feck about playing those sort of reverse psychology games tbf.Maybe this is a CR7 + Alexis Sanchez --> Man City type situation; trying to force Utd's hand for an underwhelming player.
you would think the leeching cnuts would get some money from somewhere to help with a top four finish.
And Antonio Valencia being offsideDon't think Klopp gives a feck about playing those sort of reverse psychology cames tbf.
He just cares about improving his team

This thread, a few pages ago. I wouldn't really know either way, but going by reports agreement with PSV is/was the issue, not with GakpoSays who
I don't know what to believe these days after this recent development. This thread, a few pages ago. I wouldn't really know either way, but going by reports agreement with PSV is/was the issue, not with Gakpo

I’m not convinced about him.So now people suddenly rate him?
I personally still think there's two spots up for grabs even with how well Newcastle are playing and I think we can definitely grab one of those two spots. However, we need a morale booster signing this window for sure. Something that markedly improves us and lifts everyone's spirits at the club.Liverpool will be favourite for the fourth spot unless United do something in the window now, I don't think they will. Surely Arsenal are better positioned to sign Felix too? Could be one last f*ck you from the Glazers.
Of course. And the club that spent 220m in the summer including 85m on a RW from Ajax at the insistence of ETH when he could have spent half that on Gakpo if he really wanted him aren’t backing the manager. So now people suddenly rate him?
We're going for Felix aren't we ?
Timber, thanks to LVGWho did we get beaten to in the summer?
That's sort of how I feel. I was never convinced that signing a left winger who I'm not sure is top quality was the long-term answer to our issue up front but it gives a rival even more options while we lack depth pretty much across the squad and we've seen that Klopp has been able to maximise the talent of attacking players.Even if you're not bothered, which I think a lot of us sort of fall into that category to varying degrees. He will strength Liverpool, and it's annoying to see them gain another attacker who will change games for them. We're still calling upon the likes of Elanga.
Who signed him?Timber, thanks to LVG
