If it’s even true, would there be two Qatar bidders in an attempt to make it look like it’s not one big state bid and that theres division among the Qatari ranks? It feels like a stunt that they may pull off.

Took over December 2021, after seeing over his first half season, he appointed Florent Ghisolfi, an extremely highly rated young DoF in the following October. Since that appointment Nice have gone from strength to strength, in the past 10 games they’ve picked up more points than PsG and everyone else bar Marseille who have 1 point more.
If only Ed Woodward did similar.
So what was the issue again? Him being so committed to his new role he lived in a caravan? Him wanting a top young DoF in quickly? Or is it just his cycling background that bothers you?
It is better Sheikh Jassim appoints the DoF rather than someone like Brailsford who at least has a successful sporting background

However, it’s Brailsford’s first full season and their form puts them in with a great chance of 5th if they win tomorrow. All that with a top new DoF onboard who’ll have 7 months at the club to prepare for next Summers transfer window. I’d say Dave seems to be making lots of the right moves, he’s everything our dickhead Woodward wasn’t.
