One of the most important reasons for delaying the United deal is that the team’s owners are procrastinating to get more money, although the Qatari offer is the highest and most complete offer in all respects, and they will soon agree to it.

So time to oil up?

People should stop posting tweets from this charlatan, he’s an Indykaila wannabe.

You'd have thought that should be a given? They'd be selling a "company" in a more troublesome environment the further into summer it goes, so it should directly affect the valuation.

Who are Elliot financing then? It can surely only be Joel and Avram to buy out their siblings and fund the infrastructure update, and then the same arguement over a deal like this making no financial sense for them comes up again.

I just don't get it, it's almost like they're in on it with the Glazers, and have made it through to the next round to spook SJR and Qatar into bidding that little bit more.

We don't know, could be anybody who wants to buy us using Elliot management's funds.

Nowhere does it mention it being the Glazers just here is up in arms over anything.

Whatever bidder wants to use them to finance a bid. They’re open to everyone

They’re open to everyone but also don’t have anyone to finance. It’s hard to see why anyone would want to take their money which would most likely be at a very high interest rate.

Is he though? Would the Qataris be keen on journo's just tweeting out nonsense? Couldn't they potentially go all Saudi on them?
He’s some no mark who paid for a blue tick on Twitter to shill for the regime, calling him a journalist is way too generous.

Mike Keegan is the mouthpiece for the Qatari bid, if you want news then look for it from him. Just because somebody writes in Arabic doesn’t make them credible.

No I get that just wondered how the Qatar regime treats people speaking on their behalf like he is if it's not credible.

I’m guessing he’s reliable based on his profile?

He's a good journo

I think that Molina guy is super solid. He should be a good source for Qatar because he's French-based.

I think he's actually a top journalist beyond sources - not sure if he's the guy that published the expose on child abuse (maybe multiple ones) in French football.

He's no clown.

Interesting considering what the telegraph were saying today. I’m inclined to take this guys word.

I think we may hear news next week.

Good source tbf he breaks a lot of PSG news.

There's more stuff in his twitter that mentions United.

There will be locker room anecdotes, things about the future of Messi, Ramos, the coach, Manchester United, what Qatar intends to do with PSG, and Nasser's clique who continue to serve themselves in the greatest calm.

I thought this was a private bid by a private individual?
Even if it is the guy clearly has close ties to the state and they'd be willing to funnel funds to his foundation at any time probably. Some real shady shit will go down.

Oh yeah we know it's shady but then so too is both City and Newcastle. We just don't have to invent sponsorships to cook books

If the Qataris end up buying the club, I am flying Qatar Airways only from now on :D

And hopefully, you aren't like your namesake and miss the flights. :smirk:

But tbf, Qatar's a decent airline. Not quite Singapore Airlines or Emirates level but pretty close -- though the main surveys have Qatar as no 1 in the world.
