To be fair, whether he's being serious or not, and his follow up post suggests he probably is... It's just childish and makes you look a bit of a clown.

It's like my kids calling me a poop. Though come to think of it, they're pro Qatar as well...

You can think of them what you want, but preventing posters from name-calling Jim is some stupid level (north Korea level) of policing.

Yes. We can’t have people who are pro Qatar to have their freedom of speech curtailed. They should be free to post and act however they want.

I'd assumed it's more to do with Google's algorithm picking up on the use of offensive and hateful terms (by it's definition) and the threat of action being a lower place in the search results or complete removal. Think he also said they had to make part of the forum private because of it in the past, and I'm guessing Ratcliffe wasn't unleashing Google on Redcafe back then.

Guys, I don’t think you understand. If we are not allowed to call someone a rat, who will they come for next? Soon we will be treating people from other countries like slaves, women will be second class citizens and gay people won’t be allowed to exist! This is exactly why I support Qatar and can’t stand RAT man.
