CL Semi-Finals 13/14 - April 22,23,29,30

Given what Luiz has managed to achieve in this match, I expected him to thump the ball straight into Torres' head, completely removing it from his body.

Thank god ITV are showing Bayern/Real next week, so I don't have to watch the return leg of this.

Yeah but...

Townsend "cheating foreigners Chelsea will win the final Ingerlund 3 lions jellied eels apples and pears. Bring on Bayern, one World Cup and two World Wars, beat you, beat you!"

It never fails to amaze me how you can burn so much money and still play such destructive shit football. Even worse, that they get a result with that play style.

Luis suarez would not look out of place in that atletico team. I can even picture him in my head wearing the jersey

How the feck has Gary Cahill turned into a very good center back?

Mata would hardly be running up and down like willian is doing so doubt he would've been the right man for these tactics.

Costa misses another chance. I thought he was supposed to be the most in-form striker in the world?

Crossing the ball is what Chelsea's CB's want. Simeone has disappointed me today.

Most of that money has been spent buying hardworking, counter-attacking players ie Will.I.An and Schurrle. The rest just need to sit back and wait for the counter-attack, Jose's prime tactics when playing a team with some sort of attacking threat.

I was not the one that brought the figure of money into this equation.

Nevertheless, at the moment the paint on the wall in my house seems to be more facinating.
Fact is there are 4 semi finalist this year and Atletico is one of them. Real eliminated Dortmund this year so they are not in the equation.

if the paint is more interesting watch that...

Costa and Koke have a shit game today, could be different if they would show their usual class.

Erm, hold on there, SAF did the same against Barcelona.

I guess so, but having said that I have never seen such a defensively minded team from Sir Alex. Of the 11 outfield players tonight, all but two are defensive players.

Chelsea have the edge in terms of experience and could probably nick a result here if they were more adventurous, but Mourinho seems to enjoy playing a rigid defensive structure with five at the back.
