Chelsea don't seem to have a great record buying strikers, apart from Drogba.
Diego Costa hasn't really showcased what he can do tonight. It's been a quite frankly dreadful performance from him, and expected much more from him.
More likely to be a Torres given how much he will cost.

Chelsea are great at just defending. Even more so under Mourinho.

Laughable how all the focus is on Jose, Jose, Jose and Chelsea. Atletico were pretty awful and defensive for their part too. Us more so, but then we are depleted and the away side, but lets not let common sense and tactics stop a good Mourinho bash!
Bodes well for Sunday. Mourinho will probably set up similarly, should get at least a point from Liverpool.

It is brilliant. Have one bad game against English opposition and you are crap for the caf. What are you talking about? Someone said Costa didn't look great, someone else said they hoped Chelsea paid a lot of money for him, I said I rated Falcao more and that game has just been a complete waste of an evening. Course I don't think they are crap.

Atletico have played right into Chelsea's hands. They won't be getting anything at the bridge. One of the worst semi finals I have ever seen. This match has put me off simeone coming to united. His brand of football is something we are trying to move away from. And Jose £100m in transfers added to a £400m squad and you still park the bus? This man has no shame.
Chelsea defended well, Atletico made it easy for them. That performance was akin to ours versus Fulham. Costa and Koke were beyond shite tonight. Still fancy Atletico to progress, it'll hopefully be a more open second leg.

It seems I missed nothing by switching over at half time. Games like tonight are the reason people continue to tune into the Premier League: It may be a bit kick and rush but you can basically guarantee life in every game apart from a snooze fest.
This result is not good for Chelsea since they have to attack and that's what atletico wants.
Yet it was a premiership team that sucked the life out of that game..
