City open talks with Milan over Kaka!!

But their wages were nowhere near the scale City are offering, if the tabloids are true.

Also Real's bid was only half the money that was tabled by City.

Both Milan and Kaka are taking their fans for a ride.

Yet it was still a record salary (for that time) and we are talking here about a player who was condemned to play in an aging team, which was out of the CL. Berlusconi had always stated that if a player handled him a transfer request then he would be sold ASAP. Therefore the only thing that Kaka had to do was to simply handle a transfer request and he would have left in few days.

The truth is that AC Milan had became a cashing cow for Berlusconi.

Kaka never turned down a move to Real Madrid, a fee was never agreed.

The Kaka love-in on this thread is a bizarre. It's like he's some kind of personal hero for you weirdos. He's not. He's a footballer. A footballer for a rival club.

He's also an incredibly wealthy footballer. And now he's about to be tempted into moving to a club that's locked in a relegation battle by the offer of a salary which will makes this incredibly wealthy man even richer. And you daft feckers are trying to portray him as some kind of heroic martyr, being forced to join City against his wishes. How does that work exactly?

Wise up and stop acting like star-struck wee girls, all upset about their favourite boyband splitting up. This thread is embarrassing.

So Kaka didn't want to leave. Maybe Real Madrid should have offered him as much money as City?

Kaka didn't knew at that time that Shitty was going to offer him such a contract. Stating that, the salary offered to him by Real was much higher then the one he is currently earning.

Tearful Kaka Wants 2010 Release Clause

Milan midfielder Riccardo Kaka is on the verge of completing his €120 million transfer to Manchester City, however, as part of his deal, he has demanded that the English side install a special release clause in his contract.

Il Corriere Dello Sport claims the Premier League side have accepted the request which could see them lose out €55m on their investment within a year of landing their man.

Kaka has asked for a €65m buy-out clause, which will allow him to leave the club in 2010 if the promises and plans Manchester City make do not materialise.

In addition, the Brazilian ace has demanded a 20 percent rise in his annual salary as compensation for not being able to play in the Champions League next season.

City are currently struggling in the league and European football seems highly unlikely. The new deal, if signed, will see Kaka take home around €18m per season in wages.

The City deal is becoming a nightmare for the player. On Friday night he was seen crying at Milanello; such is the torment surrounding his possible Milan exit.

Arabian news agencies had suggested that Kaka had signed a deal last night but there has been no confirmation from either club regarding these rumours just yet.

The Rossoneri have allowed the player to talk with City and the Italian club are willing to negotiate with regard to the money on offer.

Kaka' can take the absolute piss with contract demands and stipulations if he decides to go and City will bend over and take it up the shitter no matter how bizarre the demands get.

I'd love to see him ask for some absurd things; i.e

- No players but robinho and jo to look me directly in the eye.

- My own changing room

- I shall be referred to as Sir

- If I don't fancy it, I don't have to play

etc, etc

When Ronaldo was leaving Barcelona, Rangers (yes the Scottish shite) made a bid and said to the player he could pick and chose what games to play in.

I think it was Ronaldinho who demanded his own personal pilot and helicopter to play for an English club, was it us? Can't remember

I want to see Kaka truly take the pish with City. He may as well have some fun if he does go to the Wastelands.

Milan have accepted the bid and they would have made it clear to Kaka that they want to cash in on him. So what's he to do? turn down city and not respect Milan's wishes.

Yes. Obviously. His career is in his own hands. If he wants to leave Milan - and get fecking minted playing for a mid-table club - then that's his perogative.

Anyhoo. I'm done arguing the toss with you girls. You're obviously too dazzled by his handsome smile to think logically.

If these reports are true then Kaka can feck himself . Crying with all the money he's gonna get

Maybe that shows the moral dilema he's facing. I can't believe the number of posters in this thread having a go at him for Milan accepting the bid:wenger: If it was solely about the money he would have signed by now. Jesus people really can't see the good in players who don't play for us.

Even if he does accept the offer I can guarantee you that 99% of people in this thread would take that offer in a milli second without a second thought:rolleyes:

The non-CL release clause seem like an amazing deal for Kaka...

I mean like whatever happens Kaka will refuse the offer. Could Milan "punish" him ?

Of course not.

Footballers aren't slaves, they're employees.

Of course this move will be spun by Kaka and his fan-boys as an altruistic gesture on his part, for the good of AC Milan, conveniently forgetting the fact that there's absolutely nothing stopping him delaying his enormous pay-day for another year or so.

I'm not sure why you're taking such a bizarre slant, but that's nonsense.

City are in a hurry to get to the top and it's not dependent on Kaka. They will turn their attention to another megastar if they can't get him and it's not a certainty they'd be back in for him a year later - they might not even need him by then.

Now that is nonsense. The likes of Messi, Kaka and Ronaldo will always be wanted by a club with as much money to burn as City. They're on a different level to every other footballer, in terms of talent and marketability.

No, you're wrong. They only need one from the set and it doesn't have to be Kaka at all. they won't always want him because if they get the correct face to promote them, they won't need him.

There's no certainty whatsoever they'd be back in for him, and certainly not for the reasons they are now.

City just want a megastar, any megastar to get their 'project' off the ground. kaka so happens to be that megastar at the moment, beings as Milan are willing to play ball with them.

There's at least 10 players in his bracket they can turn their attention to if they don't land him.

You really don't like the image (as opposed to knowing him)he gives don't you Pogue ^^ ?

I don't have very strong feelings about Kaka tbh. I'm not keen on evangelists in general and it pissed me off when Milan knocked us out of the CL but that's all fairly minor stuff. What really annoys me in this whole saga, though, is the fan-boyism he provokes in people who are supposed to be United fans.

Maybe I'm old school but I was brought up in a generation where people support a club, first and foremost, rather than individual players. And never individual players at rival clubs. Kaka is a very talented footballer and I enjoy watching him play but I find it fecking bizarre the way he's put up on a pedestal by so many 'tards in this thread. It's just weird.

Pieces of meat don't hold out for a 20% increase in their salaries.

All this "poor Kaka" nonsense is getting on my tits. Whether he moves or not is entirely up to him.
Exactly. Fair play to him that he is thought worthy of all this hassle. May he enjoy all it's financial fruits and more if the move happens

Kaka doesnt want a move. Milan don't want to turn the money down. Kaka is dissapointed that Milan don't want to keep him, and that theres only one club offering the money. His values tell him not to take this deal however milan are pressuring him to take it. He now wants a clause to GTFO as soon as he can and move to a more preferable club.

If you're gonna believe what you read in the press you might as well add that his "values" have prompted him to demand an extra 20% on his salary.

heard he be on 80,000 pounds a week, is this a joke???
