Dislike for city is clouding peoples judgment here. Milan can't turn that money down. Kaka has already said he will only leave if Milan want him to leave.

If Kaka leaves, then it is reasonable to assume that Kaka was asked by Milan to accept the deal.

Very lightweight though.

You think?
Hmmmm I reckon it could cause some trouble, very tough to handle each one of them but a good double marking does the job, the problem is when you have to mark both of them and watch out for their other players as well.

Imagine how the AC Milan fans must be feeling. At least Ronaldo wanted to move to Madrid, Kaka to city would be like Ronaldo going to Getafe because of the extra money.

Come on Kaka. Don't do it, don't break my heart:(

If it helps you sleep at night.

and you might be right.........

What a circus. But all joking aside, if that bid was really on the table I reckon Milan should take it. They can buy a ready made replacement in Diego, or bring back Gourcouff, buy two quality centerbacks and still have a wad left over.

Tbf, you can't blame Milan at all it they do accept that 107mill or whatever the hell it's got to. I doubt whether any team in the world would turn that kind of money down, including United.

Yeah the ammount of money is absolutely out of rage.

Does the Bible look down at extreme wealth? I'm pretty sure it does.

Evangelical wanker.

I'm not sure why so many here blame Kaka for being greedy and disloyal. He said it was up to the club and he personally was happy to stay as long he is wanted at Milan.

Once AC Milan accepted the bid you can't really blame him for what happens next. Imagine how fast your Ronaldo would have packed his bags had United accepted Real's approach in the summer.

I agree with this, and with Nucks and the others who have made similar points.

But I reserve the right to take the piss anyway.

Jealousy too I think.

I would have no problem if a normal player was to move for such money, I would do the same thing given the chance...it's the way Kaka preaches his religion as if he's the fecking Messiah, when all along his lifestyle completely contradicts his faith. Surely the Christian thing to do would be to donate 95% of his wages to say..the starving children of Africa?

no way in hell they're going to sign him, it's all bollocks you'll see

I'm ITK

How do you know he wont?

It has been established that he gives part of his salary to charity, whatever that amount is. So the more he earns the more they get.

Isn't it the Church he gives his money to? That's not charity.

He would have been playing CL football at Madrid.

True, true.

But not all churches are full of kiddie fiddling hypocrits. Some of them distribute money to the poor and help the sick. Maybe he found one of those ones.

Giving money to the church isn't the same as giving money to charity. Especially where evangelical christians are concerned. Some would say that certain churches have done more harm than good with their "charity" work in Africa.

He hasn't exactly been hiding his faith under a bushel, has he?

If he's gonna act like an evangelist, he can expect some stick when he sacrifices his career for 30 pieces of silver.

The problem is that this isn't just 30 pieces of silver now is it?

I'm just as sickened by this whole episode, but only in as much as it just goes to show that at the heart of the game that I love, lies the truth that dominates every aspect of everyones life, and that's that money matters.

For us sitting here we can blather on and on about morals and code and right and wrong, but at the end of the day what matters is what is personally best for the player and the club. And like it or not money is VERY high on their priorities, which is not a new thing at all.

There is a point like it or not where an offer becomes so overwhelming for both player and selling club, that it simply cannot be turned down because to do so would itself be silly. Moral or not, once an offer is tendered that is that lucrative and over-valued, it would almost be idiotic to not accept.

Bear in mind also, that it's not only Kaka who if accepting the offer, but AC as well. It's hard to argue that he is turning his back on them if they are looking more than willing to accept the fee offered. Shit, they've just been offered almost 3 times what he's worth!

I hate the fact that not only are Citeh's new owners basically exposing a truth that we all know in our heart of hearts to be true, the simple fact that it is City we're talking about damn near makes me want to vomit. I think for all our bellyaching and whining about Citeh and where they stand in the table and not being Champions League qualified, that some players who they are interested in may see that situation as a scenario to test themselves and prove that they can take a hapless loser club, and make turn them into a powerhouse.

Fortunately money alone cannot buy success, and I for one hope that Citeh find a way to feck this up in spite of deep pockets. Bit I'll admit that my they have my attention, and may be a concern in a year or two.

Great deal for Milan ,everyone is talking about the Kaka's perspective but AC Milan will be a force to be reckoned with now with all the dough.

As far as it not being the Christian thing to do to accept the money also keep in mind that AC Milan is not Jesus Christ, or the embodiment of any religious figure. They are a football club that is willing to sell the player. It is NOT a sacrilegious act for Kaka to accept a more lucrative offer from another club.

Because it’s Citeh though, it is in very poor taste.

no they won't

they can't replace Kaka and other teams will milk them silly for every player they approach

they could even miss on CL football. Again.

Point taken, although you could say the same about charities. There are good and bad charities and good and bad churches.

Bullshit, they can replace Kaka with ease as this season he hasn't been that good at all and they're 3rd. Other team will sell their price witha big price but with 120millions you have a big margin to get 3 or 4 top class players.

When i first heard this story, I just dismissed it as 'never gonna happen' but there seems to be more and more strength to the possibility of it actually happening!

I can totally understand why Milan want to sell as the price is ridiculous - but I dont really understand why Kaka would even entertain the idea. Apart from the story about giving money to charity - which is the only possible rationale
