Kaka 'agrees to Blues switch'
Manchester City, 16:25, January 16, 2009
Brazil star Kaka has agreed to join Manchester City for a world record £100m from AC Milan, a report on Friday claims.
The Blues have been trying to add the 26-year-old playmaker to their squad this week, having entered into negotiations with Milan officials, and they could now have landed their man.
Club owner Sheikh Mansour has reportedly told friends that Kaka has accepted terms, believed to be around £335,000 a week, and will make the switch to the Premier League from Serie A.
Milan bought Kaka from Sao Paulo for €8.5 million in 2003 and it appears they have been unable to resist the temptation to cash in on their most saleable asset.

why would it make you sick ?
why would it upset anyone ?
remember you can't polish a turd.
Come on Kaka. Don't do it, don't break my heart
Cringe-worthy amount of fan-boyism in this thread.
feck him. Greedy cnut. Fingers crossed he's playing the Championship next season.
Not that I'm hoping he'll play for united, but he is my favourite player outside United and I love his attitude both on and off the pitch.
You might want to start using the term loved. Past tense.
AC Milan and Kaka are proving to be greedy cnuts indeed.

Some of you atheist wankers are waiting for this moment to jump on his back.

We'd probably bite a teams hand off if we were offered £100+ million for Ronaldo and they weren't even competitors on a European stage. (well, Milan and City are this season, but realistically Milan are way above them on almost every level.)
The same would be said for Barca/Messi, Arsenal/Fabregas, Liverpool/Torres (regardless of whether those players would fetch that much or not) i think. It's not a case of greed, these are offers even the most honest and genuine men would be stupid to refuse. Although there would still no doubt be very few out there loyal enough to refuse such an offer.
I bet Rooney is an atheist.
Now there's a footballer you can respect.
The soldiers of the mighty Allah and winning over the footballing representative of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ using the one attraction common to all religions, shitloads of cash.
Imagine, just fecking imagine, if they went down after signing him
I'd be willing to trade this seasons title to Arsenal or Chelsea (with us finishing second), to see City going down with a billion in the bank!!
He hasn't exactly been hiding his faith under a bushel, has he?
If he's gonna act like an evangelist, he can expect some stick when he sacrifices his career for 30 pieces of silver.
If Kaka signs im seriously considering supporting city.
Is what im expecting to hear any second now in this thread.
Get a grip people.

We already know that the Glazer's are greedy cnuts though.
I gave AC the benefit of the doubt (har har) and definitely had hoped for more from Kaka.
Robinho alone is a joke. However, Kaká + Robinho is actually a good combination.

Devout Christians continuously proclaim the moral high ground & look down upon those who are not up to their spiritual level. The "Deadly Sins" are what Christians regard as cornerstone to their Religious Beliefs. Abide by them & ye will be saved. Greed is a Deadly Sin. What we're seeing now is contradictions!
