Delusions of grandeur. If he wants a regular start he'll have to join a mid-table club.Strange that he seemed to be so pissed off about sitting on the bench at United but is now getting even lesser game time at Real Madrid .
But But..it was his dream to join Madrid.Strange that he seemed to be so pissed off about sitting on the bench at United but is now getting even lesser game time at Real Madrid .
It wasn't his dream. At least I never read anything like that. But But..it was his dream to join Madrid.

He was basically driven to leave United by his NT manager, who basically refused to start him (this during the world cup, when their main striker was bang average). Read the manager's comments since last year and you would notice a trend.

Fair enough, that is fairly recent and I wasn't aware of that. What I was going by was this (all during different times of the year):
Might be the case that Real was the only club willing to take him. They needed a back up striker anyway, and who better than Chicharito.Again then why join Real Madrid then, all he gets there is garbage time when they are are already 4-5 up.
I'm beginning to wonder if the likes of Hernandez, Cleverly, Nani will all be returning next season and the so called "clear-out" from the summer will be dumped back at Carrington.
Having played better than the players they left behind, yes
Yes... Though allegedly they don't want to pay that much
Cleverley's contract will be up so he won't be back. Anderson will be gone in the next two windows as well.I'm beginning to wonder if the likes of Hernandez, Cleverly, Nani will all be returning next season and the so called "clear-out" from the summer will be dumped back at Carrington.
I don't think that applys in Cleverlys case tbh

The thing is he wasnt our first backup. Welbeck was getting in ahead of him
At Madrid Benzema plays or Hernandez plays
Benzema plays or there's no striker. Chicharito is 3rd option.
They havent started a single game with no striker
Hernandez has 1 start up front with Ronaldo in the league and 1 next to him in the champions league
Elche on 23rd September.
---------------Navas
-Carvajal - Varane - Ramos - Marcelo
-------Illaramendi - Kroos
--Bale - Rodriguez - Isco - Ronaldo
So is it looking likely that Real will take him permanently?
A backheel assist
Surprisingly moving to Real Madrid after being a sub at Manchester United won't solve any of your problems.
Just looked at his stats - for the last month and a half he played 3 mins in CL and 6 mins in Primera Division - shocking.
Plus their homegrown player Jese is back (and scored tonight), so his playing time might be even more limited.
Not blaming him though, that kind of offer comes only but once in a lifetime, shame it's not working out.
