I'd sell Hernandez in a heartbeat and promote Wilson as 3rd/4th backup striker.

It's in everyone's best interests for Hernandez to move on. He wants first team football and he isn't going to get it here. Wilson is a massive talent and having Hernandez is only going to block his route and stunt his development, even at this stage I'm sure the majority would rather see Wilson play than Hernandez.

He's been a great player for us and a top character so I would like to see him do well elsewhere.

Same here, but the time for sentimentality has gone. He needs to go now. He detracts from the team more than he adds atm.
 
From last year everything about him I loved has gone. I used to be excited to see him on the team sheet or coming off the bench but he's so casual in the way he plays now. The energy has gone, his finishing, but most of all his great personality and attitude is nowhere to be seen. It's shit and as someone who has always loved him as a player it's time for him to go. I'd rather see Wilson play. In fact I'd rather see Wilson play ahead of Welbeck.
 
My love-in with Hernandez finished a while back, tonight confirmed it for me. He's not United material. No more sympathy for him. He needs to go. Fantastic professional, just not for us.
 
His casual outside of the foot stab at a cross when we were 3-0 was indicative of his decline. He could have made the effort to control that ball and get a decent shot off but seemingly had no desire to.

Thanks for the good times, some were great, but you need to leave Chich.

Scored 18 goals in 12/13. Let's not let a good story get in the way of the truth. His confidence has been shattered and he's playing like a man who knows his future lies elsewhere. The criticism of late has been over the top though.
 
I'm sure Fred the Red has a better first touch, he's been disappointing for a long long time - needs to leave
 
In my eyes he is done here. Sell him at the next available opportunity. He was once a great finisher, good movement. Now his finishing has become awful, and he rarely runs in behind like he used too. He want's to get involved with build up but he's so weak and his touch and passing is awful. He just ends up giving the ball away?. I really would prefer Wilson to have his playing time.

A genuinely disgraceful performance. Touch, composure, effort, passing, abysmal., never thought the day would come where I'd be disgusted by him . Wilson came on and looked like messi compared to him .
 
Hope he goes before the window ends. Would rather Wilson is getting his minutes.
 
His time at the club is up I'm afraid, he has barely been putting an effort in for a while now.

I said this for long time.

He's not good enough and now that he has started getting involved in the build up play he is even worse.
 
Sometimes with him he shows a pass/touch/interplay that really impresses me as generally I feel he's below a top team standard there. Other times like today you just wish he'd keep it simple and stay on the last shoulder and keep out of the build up. So many simple passes he missed/poor choices. I think it'll be a blow to lose him as he'll get you some winners out of nothing over a season but I'd rather see Wilson get chances as I just don't think he can ever be more than a squad player and from all the murmurings he doesn't want that.
 
Surely he won't get another chance this season. He can't even say he's not match fit really. The guy was a fans favourite a few years ago but just a liability now. I'm pretty sure he knows his future here is up as he plays with zero confidence in a United shirt these days.
 
he can't play football, he was good in a manchester united team who had 10 other good players to support him. We need all hands on deck at the moment, no passengers.
 
Really sad to see him play as bad as this, he is much better but either his heart isn't in it, or his confidence is shot.

Hope some club out there will take a chance on him getting his game together, we'll be lucky to get £10 million though.

Everyone know he's not really wanted by the new manager and almost definitely leaving, but come on, show some professional pride as a footballer and at least put up a decent performance! You are getting destroyed 4-0 by MK fecking Dons! If this doesn't hurts his professional pride, he won't do well at his next club either.
This lack of professionalism from him is a total DISGRACE.

Tbf to him it wasn't lack of effort. He's just gotten shit and lost all form.

Needs a move for himself at this stage.
