That place is a graveyard for strikers, let's hope that's the case again.
Something something United slow to conclude deals etc etc.So took 50 days for the official confirmation to be made, and this is just on them activating the release clause. Still not finished yet.

Gah! Why can't we take ages to sign players who looked rubbish at the World Cup?!1!!?
Suddenly Chelsea will be unbeatable according to this idiot.
Where does he rank among Europe's elite for you guys? Personally think he is a level below the likes of Suarez, Falcao, RVP, Lewandoswki etc

I personally don't think Mourinho will play Fabregas next to Matic. Reckon he'll play him how he used to play Lampard - the most attacking midfielder in a 4-3-3.
Something like:
CechDecent team, but certainly not unbeatable.
Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Azpilaqueta
Matic
Ramires - Fabregas
Willian - Costa - Hazard
Courtois will be their number 1 next year I feel.
Their defence doesn't match the quality in front of them, they're beatable.

You reckon Cech will leave then, because there's no way he'll be happy being back up? He's too good for that.
Mixed feelings about this. He was excellent for Atletico in what was a similar role to what he'll have at Chelsea.
On the other hand he looked crap for Spain and is a bellend (although Drog was a bellend and I love him).

They had the best defense in the league last season and are improving it.

No offence @Mister_Stubbs, but why would you post the opinion of some young journo college student?. Is he really that important people have to embed his Tweets.
Drogba is another type of bellend who was liked by quite a lot neutrals, and even opposition fans(me included). I am not sure many neutrals likes Costa too much, and I am quite sure all opposition fans will dislike him if he keeps up being cnut like he was for Atletico.

I wouldn't go by what players look like at the WC. If you had never watched football in your life and started with this World Cup, you'd think Spain, Italy, England and Portugal are full of mediocrity. And the other way around, some of the players that are looking like bee's knees in Brazil now, will disappoint you when the regular season comes around.
The only thing that worries me about Costa is that injury he has been struggling to shake off. As long as he's fit, I'm sure he'll do well for us.
I don't rate Lukaku on the highest level at all, his hold up play is woeful at times.I'm as yet unconvinced by Costa. He had a brilliant season, no doubt. 27 league goals in Spain is very impressive. But He's 25. And had never broken 10 league goals before this. His highest was 10 league goals wasn't it? Like many strikers have had one golden season where everything they touch goes in.
There is no doubt I could be proven wrong this season. He could be exactly what Chelsea need and he's definitely an improvement on what they have there at the moment, but I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't live up to expectations.
I definitely wouldn't be getting rid of Lukaku or sending him out on loan. He got 15 league goals for a far inferior team, but at least it was in the Premier League.

You're right. I don't think he'll be like RvP is for us or Suarez for Liverpool where he's regularly setting up teammates for goals or pull some magic out of nowhere. He doesn't really need to, though, since he's got plenty of creative players behind and around him.He is an extremely limited striker.
I think he will score a decent amount of goals, but he won't be creating a lot of his own chances.
