Another swift and efficient transaction done by Chelsea. We really need to consider tapping up whoever's in charge of sorting out their transfer dealings.

Want Hazard? Ok. Want to nab Willian from under the noses of Spurs? Fine. Matic? No problem. Need a striker? Let's waste a summer chasing Rooney.

Whereas we were linked with Sneijder for three years, got ripped off for Fellaini on Transfer Deadline Day, had some imposters with briefcases ruin the Herrera transfer and are still trying to convince Fabregas to join us (if reports are to be believed). Everything is so drawn out and protracted.
I fixed that for you.

The real reason why Costa wants to sign for Chelsea.

For all the "Oh my god chelsea gets deals done quick" talk, he is hasn't been officially announced has he?

What a strange thing to do. It looks like they've never actually spoken to each other and that's his way of breaking the ice.

I like the way Xabi Alonso just sits there and looks at him at the end as if saying "Dude...WTF?"

 You just can see the :" Nope, he is not doing that" in Xabi Alonso eyes.

What is also quite funny is that Costa examines it after pulling it off his leg. As though the leg hair contains magical powers.

Jose will do Casillas on Fabregas, bench him and play him in some shit games just to piss him off.

To be honest, that's basically what they need. Someone to dominate against the small, shit sides that they lost or dropped points against last season. They were already the best side against the big boys.

Nah being harsh on jose there mate.

He saw something wasnt the same and benched and "the saint" riled up up madristas.Mourinho i feel has been justified. The same way i think hes a done really good business shifting luis.

Now cesc in my eyes has always been a creative 8 not a 10 and with frank gone, watch him mop up in behind Costa.

Hes a fabulous signing the bastids.

Is this still happening? It's all gone a bit quiet.

So much for 'Chelsea showing us how it's done'

I think we all saw during the World Cup, and the last season when Ancelotti preferred Lopez in league games (leading to a horror show in the CL Final as well) that Casillas isn't the same Casillas who was 1B to Buffon's 1A in the best keeper in the world tournament from around 2005 to 2010

I remember all the caftards who were so keen to lambast Woody for not signing anyone and using Costa as an example of Chelsea's decisiveness in the market...

After the way he played at the World Cup they're probably having second thoughts

Costa is hugely overrated. Does Mourinho want him or is it a Roman signing-in-the-making?

Hasn't Filipe Luis also stalled?

Two 30m signings in two days from us.

Although Chelsea did wrap up the Fabregas deal fairly swiftly.

We're trying to sign Woodward. He clearly knows how it's done.

I'm as yet unconvinced by Costa. He had a brilliant season, no doubt. 27 league goals in Spain is very impressive. But He's 25. And had never broken 10 league goals before this. His highest was 10 league goals wasn't it? Like many strikers have had one golden season where everything they touch goes in.

There is no doubt I could be proven wrong this season. He could be exactly what Chelsea need and he's definitely an improvement on what they have there at the moment, but I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't live up to expectations.

I definitely wouldn't be getting rid of Lukaku or sending him out on loan. He got 15 league goals for a far inferior team, but at least it was in the Premier League.
