Champions League Semi Finals (9th - 17th May)

I just really wish our players could play the first time passes quickly into a player. Someone pops the ball in and the receiver instantly makes a pass on the angle to a third player.

I beg, please

That's a real limitation of xG though, generously assuming that I understand it correctly. Madrid carved up a few very threatening situations, but something like Dias' great interception to deny them a tap-in won't be reflected in the xG.
True. But still: they had one actual attempt on goal in 45 minutes and they scored that.

Just as I was thinking, it's too open for Mondric and Kroos' legs then City create an opening.

Please, no jinxing posts during the match. The gods must not be tempted to cheat what is right and just.

Is City trying to break the record for the biggest amount of shitty corner kicks in a single game? They wasted so many of them.

Camavinga might never play in midfield again.... dudes absolutely brilliant at left back.

He was their best player in the final last year.

Only Curtois had the worse passing stats out of 22 players that started that final. He was also Real Madrid's leading player for poor touches and being dispossesed. And my initial point was literally about passing, I said "passing wise" just next to Casemiro's name, but it's not like everyone just turned that into "Get him, he thinks Casemiro is shite!".

Why on earth casemiro wanted to leave Madrid and join our lot

I mean don't get me wrong I'm glad he did, but one wonders!

You never know. Best to get a 3rd if they can swing it.
Yeah, sure. But unless I'm wrong, City mentally never had it in them to make a two goals comeback in the CL.

City have no idea what to do with Vinicius; he's just cutting inside at will now and nobody picks him up because he's not 'supposed' to be there. Completely nullifying Walker by simply avoiding him.
