Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

If they had an ounce of tactical cop-on in the first leg they may well have won the tie.
I know they did a vast amount of self harm. But they play some nice stuff. Kolarov and Djeko are immense

2 stone wall pens turned down for Roma tonight imo.

This is like when Chelsea won it. Not the best team in competition but it just seems to have their name on it.

Roma robbed? Come on, Liverpool switched off at 50 in the first leg and at 2-1 tonight. Roma may have saved some pride but they were never in the tie, totally flattered by the final score.

Roma robbed!

To be up by 5 then only win because of two shit decisions, one being a blatant handball on the line, is pretty fecking poor.

Hate to say it, but whether they lose or win the final Liverpool are the most entertaining football team in Europe right now.

I switched off right before Roma scored. Blame me. I'm away to smash a plate or something.

Fe*k me, @Ban are you watching this on HRT2?? They have live feed from Liverpool fan club in Zagreb??? Never saw that before. I will call them tomorrow, and complain!

What a dreadful tactics by Liverpool. We are not good at defending and we are trying to do that. I really do not understand that. Madrid may not be good defensively but their midfield and forwards would kill us.
I think only Liverpool fans will dread about outcome going in a match with lead of 5-2.
Massive defensive overhaul needed.
One complaint i have of Mane and Salah is that they don't release balls early when other player is in better position.

Sorry about rant as we are in finals and it is time to celebrate but I just hate our defensive play.

The LFC Robertson signing actually pisses me off next level. Some PL scouts need to be sacked. It doesn't take a genius to see that Robertson was a quality left back at Hull. What the feck were our scouts doing with their dick in the hands when we have Shaw, Blind and Young as our left backs?

Roma were all over them tonight. Handed Pool four goals and still edged it, nearly... and Djeko was not offside in the first half.

So they're trying to win their 6th CL?

Come back when you win 20 leagues!

Hehe

Jesus, they almost managed to feck this up

Ffs!! Roma should have did it with the chances they had. Not worried though, Madrid won't be so wasteful.

Not only that, but Arnold would have been sent off too, saving a clear goal with his hands. Pen+red card and then it changes everything

Very very lucky for you that he didn't as it'd have been a very hairy final 25 minutes with ten men for your lot and a man out of the final if you'd still got there.

Can count yourselves a bit fortunate tonight. Awful second half performance nearly cost you a final.
Don’t disagree with that, yeah. Still I think we deserve to be in the final tbh, you can only beat what’s in front of you and even if we got lucky sometimes, so did Madrid for example.

Amazing how they conveniently forget that incident.

And how the feck is the TAA incident a red card?
It was a red for me, I’d want that as well if that was a Roma defender, clear goal denied and his hand shouldn’t be there. Opposite with Klavan, ball to hand in a perfectly normal position from close range.

Come back when it's your fault sometimes.

It depends. They play at high pace and there's drama due to their potency up front and calamity at the back but I feel a lot of folks may like a bit more skill and quality in the midfield. They play a very fast paced long ball style which I don't think is boring but it's not my cup of tea either.

That's my subjective view though.

You seem like a decent fella.... I still hope your lot get absolutely twatted in the final, but I'll also hope you win £50 on a scratch card on the same day; because I'm magnanimous like that ;)

I think it’s great that Liverpool have won the European cup. I did think tonight was just the semi, but apparently judging by the pitch side parade and gushing from the BT team they actually won it tonight. What time is the trophy presented?

Deserved win. That early goal wrecked Roma. Just have to hope Real are better than they've looked. Real winning 3 in a row isn't ideal (in terms of records to catch up with) but given the circumstances...
