Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

The season is scripted for Ronaldo to be our star man and win us the CL. We are going to face his biggest haters in each step of the way and he will get the winner each game.

They play low block and counter, we struggle playing teams that play that way, basically our kryptonite.
High-press is our biggest counter by a mile, or at least it was under Solskjaer, our players flap under any pressure in our half.

Still a better draw than PSG: Atletico are a bit pants this season.
They’re just the kind of side to be having a shit season then pull out a shithouse victory against a naive United side. They managed to somehow get through the groups.

2 draws and we still have the hardest draw of the 4 English sides

If Liverpool were given Villareal, it would have meant Inter Milan could only be drawn against Real Madrid (they were in the same group) or Juventus (same nation).
They need to get rid of teams from the same country can't get one another, especially when in some cases there are 5 countries from the same nation in the final 16 and they can't get someone from the same group.

Chelsea finishing 2nd but getting an easier draw than group winners doesn't sit right.

Altetico so far in the league.

16 games - 8 W, 5 D 3 L

Although, Atleti in the CL is a different animal. First game in Madrid?
Get a result there and we could be good.

Atletico is a good draw for us. They're absolutely shit this season. If Ronaldo is on form, we'll batter them.

Athletico is a tough one but I think we have a slightly better chance than against PSG.

This is fecking hilarious me dad's constantly been saying we gonna get Atletico then they make a fecked up draw earlier and I told him I guess you were wrong dad only for us to later draw Atleti.:lol::lol:

Bayern, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus, Liverpool, Real Madrid to go through.

It's amazing how much I don't care th CL when United aren't in it. Right now, I'm feeling rather optimistic about it. This competition has life still...as long as my team is in it.

I really hope they have to do it again

Perhaps this time City and Chelsea may actually get a tricky opponent?! No of course they won't their luck in draws is incredible and could use investigating as it's not just in the CL look at their FA Cup runs.

This is purely down to the group seedings though. There are now shite teams in Pot 1 for the groups, which translates to 'poorer' group winners.

Chelsea FC are proud to announce they will be in Champions League final next year after they beat Accrington Stanley in the semi finals.

If away goals still applied, I wouldn't even bother wasting 3 hours watching the tie as Atleti would shithouse their way to a 1-1 away goal progression.

This season it's an even contest for me with both teams well below par.

Wish we could see the fans reaction to the opposition  . They got shafted. Except Chelsea of course.

I would have taken PSG again if it meant others got a harder draw. FFS. anyway. Chelsea had the most brown envelops.

We don't have many, just one big one.

Also, Atletico were utter garbage when we knocked them out last season. You'll batter them.

Chelsea getting the French Champions twice is annoying.

Generally speaking yes - but even in that relatively tough group they barely got through with 7 points and a minus GD. They've been well below par across all comps.
