Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

I'm not sure which is worse, think I would've preferred PSG.

Real though  Perez will be fuming

Atletico have been shite this season. Yes, could have been better, but prefer them to Inter or PSG.

Who couldn’t Villarreal get Liverpool? I get Villarreal couldn’t get Madrid and Juve couldn’t get inter…but I think Villarreal should have been a draw between Juve and Liverpool
Because Madrid can't get Inter they are in the same group and Juve can't get Inter because they're both Italian clubs.

Anyone else think Atletico is a tougher draw?
Tactically, yeah. PSG are basically like the better version of us in terms of individual names but play with the same unpredictability in terms of they’ll either thrash you 4-0 or play like cack

You absolutely Atletico know what you’re getting with Atletico. Two insanely tumescent ties

Honestly not as worried about Atletico, they got 2nd with 7 points so shows that they're not exactly amazing, Liverpool have proven that they're very beatable. PSG were the only team I actually wanted to avoid, with Ronaldo every single other team is beatable and I expect us to look like a much better unit come February.

Inter's a much tricker opponent for Liverpool than Salzburg so pleased with that as well, not quite PSG but more chance of an upset, even if miniscule. Chelsea and City getting their annual free passes, what else is new?

Would be so much easier if they just let teams from the same country play each other from the first knock out round

Not saying it's fixed or anything like that but when there's limited options to pick from the second team, all they do is put the 2/3 balls in and spin them around the edge. They don't mix the order of the balls up or anything and Arshavin knows which order they went in / were picked too. It's easy to get a draw he would want to pick in that instance.

Ronaldo vs Atletico.. oo those fans are going to rile him up

Atletico are poor this season. Not fussed

Lille will be trickier than expected

There was a 1/16 (6.25%) chance that Chelsea would get Lille twice in both draws, based on the fact that in each draw there was only one team from a possible 4 teams that they could face.

Wanted us to play Atletico for years. Happy with this. Absolute embarrassment however by UEFA. Shambles

They should just feed the teams into FM and let that draw it  We'd have weird finals on the first day of the Euro's but it'd still beat this.

Atletico v United will be a battle of attrition - who plays the worse football.

If Liverpool were given Villareal, it would have meant Inter Milan could only be drawn against Real Madrid (they were in the same group) or Juventus (same nation).

I was thinking that.

"No peeking now!" :nono:

We drew the hardest teams we could draw. Why do City get easy fixtures every time they're in a draw? They have insane luck.
