Champions League Knockouts (12 Aug - 23rd Aug)

I hate Leipzig with a passion, but even the best system and coach can only get you so far before squad quality pulls you back to the ground. A CL semi is a great achievent for them, especially without Werner.

What on Earth was that with the dive?

I think he just slipped, second time that defender slips in the game in dangerous situations.

Edit: Nevermind, looks a slight clip on his right heel but hard to tell.

Ah well. I would love to have seen RB Leipzig in the final. If only PSG didn't perform that comeback against Atlanta.

Ah well (hopefulyl) Bayern will stuff PSG in the final.

I swear half the goals in this Champions League consist of the opposition basically gifting the attackers a goal.

Fecking Neymar is a snake. Trying to get in there to steal that goal. So desperate to get his name in the headlines.

Why would you celebrate a PSG goal?

I'm talking in general for every club. There's always a shot now of the players running off looking at the ref, or the ref putting his hand to his ear or idiots like Mcmanaman saying "surely he's offside surely.."

Defensive diving backfires...
...you love to see it..

0-3
Neymar

Another one for the Upamecano highlight reel. Just casually lets Bernat run right by him in the original move, then when RBL lose the ball just stops playing altogether and stands around complaining as a player is wide open right in front of the goal on his side.

Schoolboy stuff. Nagelsmann should throw towl in and just try keep the score down.

Leipzig plays with too much respect for this PSG team. Hopefully Bayern smash them in the final.

Haven't been impressed with either of Leipzig's CBs. Both spend too much time ball watching

Atalanta were within minutes of beating these, I think Nagelsmann got his tactics all wrong. They haven't had any sort of control since kickoff.
