Useless again. I'd rather play Kone or someone else from the youth teams over Casemiro, he is finished at this level and it has been apparent for a year already.
He should have been sold a while ago.

He's absolutely finished as a top level footballer. He should never play.

One (not only) good thing about this transfer is club will (hopefully) have learned not to give 4 year contracts to players that are 30+ years old. That never looked smart even if he was WC player back then. He'd be gone this summer surely if it was 3-year contract and this way we'll have to hope Casemiro is willing to go to MLS or Saudi League (hopefully Ronaldo can convince him).
He’s 32, not 42. Physically he shouldn’t be finished, and people have been talking about how well he takes care of his body. It’s really strange. He should be in his prime…

Staggering he’s only 3 months older than Salah yet one is in the prime of their career leading their team to the league title whilst the other can barely raise a jog and has looked finished at PL level for the past 18 months.

I know he’s a bit useless these days, but thought he did well when he came on, and I really enjoy his passion, celebrating winning a throw-in like it’s a 94th minute winner. Shame he’s not 5 (or more) years younger

Good cameo. It's why I think Casemiro could still be useful for us (at least this season), with 3 competitions to play over next 3 months. Not sure I'd start him in most of those games but coming on when we're trying to close the game could be his role like tonight.
Brought his experience when we needed him to, fair play.
Actually a good cameo. Maybe that's his role going forwards, 15 minutes at the end when his legs aren't as important.
He was never fast. He was I believe always slow. Modric would do all the running and ball carrying and Kroos the progressive passing.
Case was covering spaces and everyone was ranting about his intelligence not his top speed.
The whole set up with those 3 was extremely interesting. Never reached the heights of xavi iniesta busquets (I think) but they played well off each other with both kroos and Modric finding ways to ensure he never got pressed.
Plus it helps if you have Ramos, Pepe behind you covering everything
He was good today. It helped that we’d changed to a 3 man midfield so his lack of legs wasn’t as much of an issue.

I’ve yet to see evidence that he’s still a very good player though, it sounds like wishful thinking.

It would also allow Bruno to play higher up the pitch. We simply need some sort of goal threat and we’re not getting that from zirkzee and hojlund.

Thought he did well overall. Might be worth starting against Sociedad if we have to sit in and defend.

Like Eriksen he is someone we got way too late. Obviously both very good footballers. Much better than the dross we bought recently but simply too late. He can't run anymore

Another good cameo imo as against Ipswich. Seems like he can't run but it's why I think we can use him bit more this season in 2nd halves of games.

You can’t start him on game shit at last when he’s come as a sub in the last two he’s been ok. Watching him try to run is almost comical but he can at least pass the ball.
Shows what we're missing in the middle of the park in terms of passing forward.

I thought he was really poor when he first came on, but got better as the game wore on. Not sure if that was due to him improving or if it was just Fulham running out of legs and starting to sit off.
There's no way he can start games for us. All he gives us is a threat from set pieces and that's it. He jogs around pretending to do something, puts in the odd Hollywood tackle and plays to the crowd but he just hasn't got the legs or the will any more and it's even more evident watching it from the stands.
I’m amazed that he doesn’t want to go and chill in the MLS or Saudi. Surely he can earn very similar amounts if you take into account tax.
