Needs rest, Need to prioritize the villa games.
Happy with his passing range and willingness to just zip it forward to the front players as soon as he gets it. McTom and Fred didnt do this anywhere near enough
I think he’s our best player and he has brought something we’ve desperately needed for years. The midfield looks balanced in possession, but what I miss is the ability to press when we don’t have the ball. Second half against West Ham was poor in that aspect. There was one occasion where Bruno pressed the goal keeper, who hit the ball under stress in to the middle of the pitch where a West Ham player calmly received the ball on his chest with full control without any United player bothering him at all. That’s why both McT and Fred came on but they didn’t replace Casemiro, instead offensive players had to walk off.Clean sheets becoming a habit for us recently has coincided with him getting his first solid run of games so far.
It's early days but we have arguably our most well balanced spine since Fergie and he plays a large part in that.
Still truly feel that the City result would've been a lot less lobsided had he started. I still don't blame the manager since his approach in regards to slowly integrating him into the XI has worked out wonders.
Guys a world-class, grade-A, certified, bona-fide baller isn't he. Everything he does oozes class. He is the Emperor, that's what he is in midfield and that's what he should be seen as. Man takes no prisoners.
Probably already posted, but the second clip really shows how stellar the pass was...
Everything about us is always going to be negative. Even when we’re performing well you see negative stuff… because everyone hates us. They should all be talking about how bad the scousers have been rather then always bringing our name up. It’s a joke. One thing that annoys me is this fuss over the man’s age.
Fernandinho performed till what age?
Silva is how old ?
Only with united this is an issue. He’s come at just the right time experience wise and under a competent manager.
I've been very pleased with his playmaking abilities as well.Transformed our midfield completely, with the help of Eriksen of course, having a defensive machine next to a playmaker is always a good combination. He allows our attacking players to thrive. Even the defence are a lot more confident knowing they’ve got him in front of them.
Would've been a great goal if Ronaldo didn't stop to get in Rashford's way.
Still can’t quite believe he’s ours.
I said it before, probably in this thread, but he’s the one midfielder I would have picked for us given we needed a DM desperately and I would have thought it basically impossible back in May.
Midfield collosus
There all probably bigger names then Ten Hag though apart from the last 2 you mentioned. I still don’t think many are classing Ten Hag as one of the world class managers in the world. I think that will change though if he brings success to us.That's great to hear. Although he hasn't worked with all that many really top managers. According to wiki the list is as follows:
Mourinho (very briefly)
Ancelotti
Benitez
Zidane
Lopetegui
Solari
How many more top managers do you want? Among them, they have about 9 champions league titles plus many more domestic titles. That's great to hear. Although he hasn't worked with all that many really top managers. According to wiki the list is as follows:
Mourinho (very briefly)
Ancelotti
Benitez
Zidane
Lopetegui
Solari
Coincides with his introduction to the starting XI, we've conceded just once in open play since he became our no.1 choice
