Cardiff City vs. Manchester United

It's quite baffling the way Moyes overlooks Fabio. For one thing, he's a better option than Büttner, but he's also a more versatile option seeing as he can play both sides fullback and also functions arguably better than Büttner up the pitch.

If RVP is injured for midweek then I think we'll see Kagawa in behind Rooney for the crucial CL match.

ok so we're without RvP, Carrick, Jones, Vidič and Rafael....perfect, just perfect.
I mean I know it's Cardiff but they're still a PL side, and they did manage to beat City for example, so we shouldn't take anything for granted.

Happy with the team, would still like to see Fabio again though

dam, that team sheet is bad news on all levels.

No Rafael, Vidic, Carrick and VP all together.

And the jammy twats who had VP as captain and Aguero as VC in their fantasy teams get very lucky!

This will test our squad strength for sure.
Hope 3 of the 4 are back for Tottenham away next week!

If fellaini has a good game we'll be fine. We can cope perfectly fine without rvp, and jones, our defence might be shaky though. Our two best players in defence both out injured.

Ferdinand worries me, especially against Campbell. I'd rather be playing Valencia RB and Smalling CB.

No reason that team can't win, plenty of talent. When xmas comes and we have lots of games we're gonna need to make use of the squad to have any chance. No real weaknesses there. Just got to hope that fellainia and clev click and Rio isn't too lacking in sharpness.

injuries:
first XI: vidic rvp carrick rafael
others: kagawa, jones,
that is six very important players out.
i hope welbeck is completely fit now. he was out injured with some knee issue, then he came back and then got the same injury. i hope this time, he has healed properly.
Would have been nice to see fabio.

Reason why a big squad is essential with the amount off injuries and niggles currently in the team.
We should still see this one out, probably won't be a pretty game, but as long as we win I'll be happy.

Any kind of scrappy one goal win will do fine. Although God knows there will be bitching on here if that's "all" United do.

Chance for Fellaini to prove himself again. Midfield positions are up for grabs in Carrck's absence.

Slightly frustrating we're not seeing much of the twins these days. We miss their natural ability at full back.

No big surprises in that line up. Cleverley and Fellaini need to step up. Would've liked to have seen Kagawa or Nani involved, but Valencia is probably the better option between him and Nani to protect Smalling at RB and if Kagawa's injured, then nothing can be done about that. Looking forward to seeing how well Hernandez and Januzaj preform.

Great to see januzaj again, been a while since we saw him
It's gotten to the stage that I'm excited for the game, regardless of the lineup as long as he is in it.

Is there another team that gets as many niggling little injuries as ours?

Except Fabio which isn't included in the team again (for whatever reasons, be it that Moyes thinks he's shit or he'll get sold in January) the team is ok. Personally I would have preferred Nani on the right wing, Valencia as right back and Smalling instead of Rio, but Rio hasn't played for a few games so it is a justified inclusion. We should win this, and I am very confident that we will.

So that's Vidic, Carrick, Jones, Rafael, Kagawa and RVP all injured. Eesh.

Rafael, Vidic, Carrick, Jones, Kagawa, Van Persie all injured.

That's some rotten luck right there.
