Who / what is Glinner?
Okay, that cnut. Gotcha.Graham Linehan. One of the writers of Dr Ted and the IT Crowd. Synopsis is he got into a bit of a online furore over transphobia and has gone so far down the rabbit hole he's essentially killed his own career.

That’s a shame as it probably hit close to home with that guy.
Don’t think so. Pool’s still a scrawny little cnut who wears the same beanie to cover being bald.Wait, is that Tim Pool?! His face is about twice as big since I saw a clip of him last year!
I also seem to be getting a lot more right-wing/anti-woke stuff recently even though I'm usually watching leftist creatorsSo blessed that YouTube finally got the hint that I'm not interested in Tim Pool. Though wish they'd stop bombarding me with reminders about yesterday's result.

Nah, this can't be true, just woke propaganda. All the right wants is freeze peach for everybody.BBC will not broadcast Attenborough episode over fear of rightwing backlash
Exclusive: Decision to make episode about natural destruction only available on iPlayer angers programme-makers

Any other source for this apart from the BBC themselves?Actually it isn’t true. The show only ever had 5 episodes. The 6th episode was commissioned separately, for iPlayer release only.
Wouldn't they just take the info from BBC or whoever?
The official WWF and RSPB websites also refer to it as a five-part series.
When we see all of it we'll know how much the "sixth episode" fits in with the rest or it actually feels like an epilogue or appendix of sorts. If it turns out to be a proper episode then it's more than fair to wonder why it's not part of the original TV broadcast. For now it feels like Guardian clickbait that I fell for hook, line, and sinker.
It’s annoying when a paper like the Guardian lowers itself to that level. At a time when there’s such an obvious valid reason to attack the Tories for their influence on the BBC it really doesn’t help matters to distract with something like this.
BBC’s own programmes have described it as a six part series before.
Source?
The veracity of the guardian story aside, the bigger story is how the right get a relatively free ride despite being active purveyors of censorship and cancel culture.
always have been. Look at book banning, controversies about critical race theories, trying to ban and marginalise criticism/boycott of israel.
And the more recent trend of hyperbolic stories of “wokeism” in society which is the new PC gone mad pejorative/moral panic.
Put him on abolition watch
Name checks out.
