Bundesliga 2016/17

How Dardai still has one sub left unused when no one on both sides has any stamina left and half his team is on a yellow is beyond me.

Sokratis what an idiot:lol:
Tuchel didn't look too bothered tho, doesn't matter now anyway with 1 minute left.

What an example to set for the young'uns..

That is to be fair the first time he did something as stupid as this for us. But my god, Ayketin is a real nitpicker. That ref ball was the perfect example for that.

And Dardai let them practise pens for nothing

One shot poorer than the last.

The first yellow maybe, but after that Sokratis was just begging for it.

Does someone know when the draw for the next round is?

Hamburg-Gladbach
Lotte-Dortmund
Bayern-Schalke
Frankfurt-Bielefeld

How the heck were Augsburg above us in the table before this game? No quality, just thugs.

Our attack looks like it's finally getting going again after we lost Malli in the winter break. Cordoba, Öztunali, Jairo all with fantastic games, and Bojan fit in pretty well for his first start.

Hoping for another Bayern-Borussia final :D
Does anyone actually call Dortmund Borussia? Whenever someone talks or writes about a Bayern - Borussia game I think of a game against Gladbach. Was truely confused for a minute after reading your post, because it made no sense to me at all.

Yeah, it's usually Bayern vs. Dortmund and Bayern vs. Borussia.

Bayern, Leipzig and Dortmund all play today ;)
Against the three worst teams in the league. Bayern Ingolstadt is going to be a borefest and dortmund will probably rest some players because of injuries so don't think that's going to be very exciting either.

If you don't want to call them Dortmund, call them BVB, it's shorter too. Just 'Borussia' is indeed misleading.

for caftards who don't speak the beautiful language that is German:
goals
minutes/goal
shots taken
shots on goal
clear cut chances
ccc conversion rate

Who exactly is Burnic? Never heard of him.

Dortmund youngster who is supposedly very promising. Afaik he's a DM/CM, but Tuchel gave him some minutes as CB during pre season and that's probably where he'll play today aswell.

Heavy rotation had to be expected after the intense match vs Hertha and the upcoming CL fixture and it'll be nice to see Mor get a start after a pretty long absence from the first team, but I wonder why Merino doesn't play today. Makes no sense to block is loan to Cologne and then not use him. Is he injured?

that's a weird table. How do they calculate the conversion rate of the clear cut chances?

I have no idea, I don't think there is a real objective (in a mathematic/geometric certainty sense) way of deciding what exactly is a CCC and what not, so it's probably up to the opta guy who covers the game.
Another thing worth mentioning about Tuchel's line up is that he's sticking with the 3142/343, even against Darmstadt, which spells trouble for Götze and Kagawa.

But the conversion rate makes zero sense, there's no way you get to those percentages with any of the other numbers in the table. 12 goals from 19 chances for Darmstadt is not a conversion rate of 32%.

You have to keep in mind that there are other ways to score than just from CCC, stuff like long shots or own goals for example.

Anyone here who is watching sky? Henkel (studio host) just said that according to their information Leverkusen had a meeting today where the end of Schmidt was sealed, but then went on to apologize in advance in case they are wrong? :wenger:

I was only half listening so I'm a bit confused now.

Are we playing in the christmas tree system of old? Interesting, just as long as it's not 4-3-3...

Not sure whether a simple apology suffices tbh. Let's not forget you've got priors like when you were wishing suicidal depression onto poor Ilkay Gpndögan

Use some white text next time, you'll break the poor guy's heart.
