Bundesliga 2016/17

There were 3 guys close to Darmstadt's goalscorer marking air, christ.

You'll scrape a win here, then hammer arsenal on tuesday, because ancelotti.

Sweet goal from Guerreiro and Mor, a lot of space for the both of them though.

Alonso subbed off... I never thought I'd live to see that again.

Merk is such a fecking clown. Ingolstadt defender straight up shoves Lewandowski with both hands from behind, "too little" for Merk. Spineless dipshit

Why the hell, at 0:0 away at Ingolstadt, would you use as the last sub Rafinha for Philipp Lahm?! WHY?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAREALFJDSKJGF >>LKF>

feck off Carlo. Unbelievable.

The Bundesliga is such a shit show this season. It has to be said.
We can stop all our mouthing off right now, it's a poor league with inconsistent teams and embarrassing team performances all over.

On Sunday, Cologne, Hoffenheim and Hertha can all overtake Dortmund. Who would have though that places 2 to 6 could be occupied by Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hoffenheim and Hertha at this stage of the season?

That's mostly because of the weakness of the bigger teams. Wolfsburg, Leverkusen, Schalke, Gladbach, Dortmund to some extent are all not on the level they should be. The smaller teams are doing a really good job i think.

Wolfsburg are done being a big team I think, but Dortmund and Leverkusen are shocking this season.

What is the conversation rate of Dortmund's opponents? I swear, I feel like everyone turns into Van Nistelrooy.

That is true, but even some of the smaller overachiever teams aren't as good as in the last seasons - Augsburg, Mainz, Ingolstadt, Darmstadt. Of course we have Eintracht, Köln, Hertha doing pretty well now but all in all, especially seeing the showings of the supposed league top clubs as you mentioned, the complete picture emerging is a pathetic one.
We're walking this and we haven't actually played well all season, with the exception of a couple of games. We would not walk any other top 5 league playing like this, I'm sure of it.

Darmstadt missed plenty today.

I think part of the reason why matches don't look bad these days is because almost all teams try to play a transition based game, which often leads to tactical midfield battles and both teams neutralizing each other but not much in terms of entertainment.

The league is still performing rather well in the UEFA ranking, despite struggling with their domestic campaign. I'd say Gladbach and Leverkusen did okay in the CL and Dortmund topped their group with a goal record. Schalke stomped their group too (as far as EL groups go Krasnodar, Salzburg and this year's Nice could be called a tough draw) despite having on of the worst league starts in their history.

It's easily the worst Bundesliga season since 08/09. So many teams play on a worse level than the previous years, it's shocking.

I'm just happy for Müller today. His second half performance was much much better than what he showed before.

Agree with the sentiment in here, it's a horrible horrible season. On paper it's great that some midtable teams are now at the top but no one of them is actually playing great football so that's not really something to be thrilled about. And the big teams are atrocious atm, the only thing that seperates Bayern from the rest is that they grind out boring result after boring result, like they did back in the 00s.
I'm showing way more interest in other leagues/sports than normally.
