I waited through their shitty punditry for the Moyes interview, but do they ask him about the performance of the Belgians? No, they ask him about some bullshit gossip about Gareth fecking Bale.
feck this channel. Hopefully not so many United games on it this year.

There's only about three United games on it over the season, that's why I didn't bother with it. Most the games they've got are a bit rum and they don't have many United games either.

I think David James is an idiot but he did well today, apart from saying Ashley Young's blatant dive was a penalty.

McManaman is a moron. He got angrier and angrier as the match went on, so much so that it was almost as if he thought Palace would have won if it was not for the ref.

Warnock is a muppet.

Hargreaves is the best I've seen on BT Sport.

Don't buy the ABU nonsense myself. It's nothing more than paranoia.

I like the idea of using a mini-pitch to describe things.

At least it's a bit different. ESPN just tried to copy SKY minute for minute. BT have actually worked on making an individual channel.

They spent most of the second half talking about a decision. No other club has decisions that go in their favour analysed more than Utd.

I wish Sky had all the live games. Paying £12/15 for this coverage is daylight robbery. cnuts.

The EU really screwed us on that one.

I like the mini-TV thing they do - if it avoids prolonged close-ups of people in the stands watching the game that we're trying to watch, then I'm all for it.

Other than that, the pundit choice is poor. I know it's the law that British football coverage has to include as many ex-Liverpool players as possible, but it's a poor choice all the same.

Cutting to Charlie Dimmock in the studio, like an episode of Beadles About, so he could whine about a decision made for some utterly bizarre TV.

The best thing about it was that he asked Halsey to explain something that had already been explained. "Oi, can you guys ask Halsey why the ref didn't simply ask the assistant whether it was a penalty or not?"

They probably ought to cut the runtime down. They've just spent nearly five minutes analysing Mourinho's thoughts on AVB. Really trying to get into why he's feeling like he his towards him. Time-filling 'banter' too. It's all dragged out a bit.

They even asked David James how long he's out on the pitch for warming up.

Is it Jake who asks these questions? As I remember when he presented Formula one he asked "stupid" questions for the casual viewer but I doubt anyone who watches BT Sport will be needing to know these crap questions.

Yeah. Did the interview with Rio and Vidic, wasn't great.

It's getting worse. He asked Owen Hargreaves to turn around and tell us what he could see. He reluctantly turned around and said "Well they're warming up"

A shot off target from Lampard is a 'collectors item' according to the commentator!

What a shit cnuting stream they supplied for that game, I missed about half of it because of some fecking phantom error. Bloody infuriating.

Why Michael Owen?

What sort of TV executive would look at Michael Owen and think, "yeah this guy can provide interesting cutting analysis and add value to the viewing experience."

Owen Hargreaves is about to kick a football in the studio. Tune in now to see his knee fall off.

And its actually pretty decent punditry here, haven't watched it before, but they're going through keepers positioning of a wall, using a keepers view via a camera attatched to David James head

Going to Mark Halsey for his opinion on EVERY refereeing decision is tedious as feck.

I thought btsport was laughable when I first watched. Think it has improved quite a lot though, for all the criticism Owen comes in for he's still a better commentator than Alan Smith on Sky, as the straight talking one of the team. Quite gimmicky the stuff they do in the studio but any change is good change when you consider sky's hegemony.

You could be forgiven for thinking that this game we call football revolves around referees.

Nothing but analysis of Moss' performance thus far. I know he's been gash, but still.

Indeed. After the Aguero goal they actually said "we'll look at the goal in a minute but first, Mark, did the referee deal with the Coleman and Negredo situation correctly?" :wenger:

Bit wierd...

Ginola and Humphrey with a really awkward moment just now and Ginola then calls him a wanker (well did the wanker gesture) on live television

Good interview with Sturridge there, but the cack that McManaman is speaking now is embarrassing.

(When analysing a Liverpool goal against Crystal Palace. Yes, Crystal Palace.)

"...and now on to Suarez, who is certainly the most dangerous player in Europe right now..."

Oh, Christ.

I've seen a few shows and it's awful. I'm only putting it on for the match itself.
