Bruno Fernandes | United not interested due to doubts over passing ability

We need players here who want to play for this club.
Whether Pogba is here or not, we need to get Bruno in.

If we have another shambles of a season, Woodward/ Glazers Out shouts will get louder.
And Woody and the Glazers wont be able to hear it as they buy better quality ear defenders out of the money they should be using to buy a defender, midfielders, right winger..................

Sky reported Ole wants to sign him a week ago, but nothing since then.

Both Daniel James and AWB deals seemed to take an age to complete... probably the same stuff happening here

I said so since the first page in this thread I do not see United getting Bruno unless pogba leaves. Does not make sense to me.

I think Real may actually raise the funds to get Pogba with the sales of Isco, Ceballos... not sure about Bale but Real expect to sell all three of them. This will drag to the wire and we won't have enough time to replace Pogba (if Sporting and Bruno himself are not pissed off anymore)

What do you think about his time at Sporting? Never watched him but the goals and assists are quite impressive and promising for a midfielder.
I have just read that man city are after Bruno,if we lose him it will penny pitching by woodward.

The board demanding straight up cash for Lukaku and Pogba is a little dangerous because that does not guarantee that the funds acquired would get channelised into our transfer budget. I almost feel getting a player into those deals might be a blessing in disguise.
I agree. 90million with Ceballos is a good deal, for Pogba.

Completely agree with you part in bold as that is exactly what I have been stating for while.

Why is dangerous demanding straight cash if the player's they would be willing to swap are either shite or are being pushed out the door and would only be coming to use for the money?

If they were players we wanted I'm sure we would be all for it.

I can barely see us making top 4 at this rate and another season goes by while we either stand still or regress.

Negative much? Chelsea just lost hazard and they barely made it above us in one of our worse seasons.

We will make top 4 comfortably.

With Woody dithering more than Mavis Fecking Riley, City will probably swoop in and sign him soon as back up for Dilva, Bilva and De Bruyne

City had a meeting with CP officials yesterday about another young player, and asked about Fernandes also.

I wouldn't want straight cash is I have no faith in it being fully invested. I would rather take players in exchange but the flip side to the coin the buying club would probably offer players who they deem not good enough. Where as if we did a swap I would only want decent players, which probably wouldn't happen.

You guys still flogging this nonsense?

I guess his agent will again be ‘flying to England tomorrow’, as he has been doing for weeks allegedly.

So we're back to the point of City being "interested" because someone wants to drive up the price for United. Tedious.

We'll still sign Fernandez. What people should be more concerned about is him playing to the level we require rather than go the way of so many of our other signings these last few years.

Whilst what you say is very true I would say let's get him first as someone of his talent is vital in our team. Im not enamored with woodwards cudos in the markets and the glaziers tight fisted greedy wrecking of our club.

Then where do you suggest we get our information as club are giving none.

‘Tier 1 for Milan news’ seemed to be working a few weeks ago.

People are here having s pop at Woody and the club for ‘losing’ a battle for a player that seems totally fabricated in the first place - not only to us, but to the rivals who are apparently going to steal him from us. I still believe he’ll sign for Valencia or Zenit come the end of summer personally.

Is there any reliable information on
A) Are we actually in for him?
B) How much do Sporting want?
C) How much have we offered?

This (and Maquire) are the deals that must go through and it shouldn't matter if Pogba stays or goes. Quibbling over 5/10m could make the difference between top 4 or a top 8 finish. If the board can't see this then we're fecked.

This is one of the victims of the modern age of the transfer window, a whole saga built on bullshit. People getting angry when we still don't know if there's even genuine interest.

That's exactly my point. None of inters player's that would be willing to swap are players we would want. The 1 or 2 players that we would want they aren't willing to sell. Which is why swaps rarely happen.

We other than last year have spent lots on player's, we have have one of the largest wage bills. I don't see them as not willing in to spend but the money we have spent has been wasted on players that aren't good enough or on too much money for their quality or don't really want to be here and thats what we would get with swapping any players from real that they would be willingtto let go. If it was the likes of skriniar or Varane then I'm sure we would be all for it.

Besides all this, no one has even made a bid yet so to say we only intestered in cash only etc is just media speculation.

You make a fair point. Nobody wants to offload their better players and Skriniar is the only one I would take from Inter, but they are not going to part with him.

I agree we have spend a stupid amount of money on players who have have not been good enough. Our recruitment process has been terrible. I've said a few times with the wages we pay we should expect to see see performances that reflect our wage bill.

Hope the bid gets made soon so that we can a replacement in and integrate him in the squad as quick as possible.

The club will give us info when the deal happens, until then it's all mindless speculation.

How do you know we even want Fernandes? it could all be made up.

City have apparently been in and out of this deal like a YO-YO, what's taking them so long to get it wrapped up also?
