I prefer Kai Havertz over Bruno any day (Looks like he is one in a generation intellectual midfielder)

Kai will be our prime Toni Kroos.
Havertz, Barella in this window would fix our midfield for good along with defence reinforcements like Toby,WBS and Deligt/Manolas.
Most of these targets are gettable except Deligt. what we are waiting for ?

We made mistakes on Prime Alexis/Hazard/Thiago/Vidal/Kante/Bernard in the past, Hope we learned from that and act quick now.
Oh, he sure does look good don't he?

For those interested,

BF scored a Hat Trick tonight and added an assist, as his Sporting team scored 8, away from home.

Involved in 48 goals in 50 games, thus far this season.

Well City fans are probably interested. If he is debating which Manchester club to join as per reports, he surely must have no interest in the red side if he has any sense.

If he prefers playing football compared to sitting on the bench, the red side might actually be the best choice.

Nah, I think he might be happy to play a part in challenging for major trophies as opposed to a bigger part challenging to stay in the top 6.

We don’t know, if United or City are even interested. If we’re going by the press reports, City are well advanced in the possible transfer, and we’re still writing up scouting reports, having watched him all season.

Reports online that he will sign for Man City for 43 million, if true then once again they have made yet another shrewd buy at that price

Once City came knocking with their huge funds and Pep at the wheel, was there any doubt?

There's reports all over the place, some even saying we're in pole position.

Apart from his outrageous ability to strike a ball. The rest of his game doesn't look anything special. City are gonna sign him as a back up I'd imagine.
Intelligence, vision, passing, work rate. How many players have these attributes?

The league is a bit shit..
I notice a bit of saltiness in your posting pal, bad results on FM?

Anyways you should write the scouting an email asap before they pull the trigger.

Why would I be salty, are you serious?

Apart from having a fantastic strike on him I don't see anything special about him. He's also only done it in a poor league.

For sure the league is behind England, Spain, Italy, Germany and now even France but arguably better producers of talent.

Any proper scout can identify the player characteristics and wether they are only applicable to a specific level. Of course there will always be things which only time shall tell but no transfer is guareente of success. See Sanchez.

It still coughed up Ronaldo, Silva, lindelof, Nani, neves, jota, etc

So yes there may be some poor teams overall, the development and coaching is obviously doing something right
There's fantastic coaching and talent in the Portuguese league no doubt. Ronaldo, Bernardo Silva and Moutinho are just a few examples.

Fernandes has a great strike on him, but the rest of his game looks very average to me. He's not a youngster either being almost 25.

The influx of Portuguese talent has suddenly mushroomed. Just prior to the Euros, there were some saying Portugal were facing a dry spell with no major youth talent coming up bar Renato Sanches. Now Renato is off the radar and there are several others stepping up.

Some papers saying City are in the driving seat others saying he will come here. We will have to wait and see, but if I were Woodward I would be in there now right away.

Prior to the Euro our main problem remains the same: our center backs have aged and the new kids are nowhere near the quality of Carvalho, Pepe, Bruno Alves or even José Fonte.

Edit: almost forgot: we still lack young quality wingers. And a bloody striker, but we are used to not having none :D

The club or agent pulling in city names to drive up the prices. If not , we have so many options out there - so relax guys.

Having said that, think he will come to us.

Cmon Adnan, if it was that easy everybody would be scoring 30 a season.
I have my doubts about his true level. What he's done this season with the amount of goals he's scored is brilliant though.

The difference between us and City is that their DOF will have been in constant contact with them and his agent, letting him know he's more than welcome there, talking about the package deal they have for him, where he'll be staying when he first moves over, who speaks Portuguese in the squad etc.

We've got Woodward who will come in cold with a contract offer that's probably more than City's and just say 'we're United, sign it'. He hasn't got the time with his current commitments to be keeping tabs on players.

Quality is quality regardless of the league, you can only beat what's in front of you. He's got clear ability, poor league or not he would improve us.

The Portuguese league doesn't count..
Most ignorant shit I ever read. Especially considering Portuguese players tend to have more quality then the English in recent years:lol:

If this is anything to go by, you are absolutely right.

EPL had had games like this too. In fact it is rare in Portugal to have this many goals and in the manner they are. But since the league is not called EPL its shit.

How many world cups have you won again?
Considering the size of the country the fact we even won something is incredible.

Its ok have fun with the Lingards Rashford and Scott Mctominays of the world. True Class.

When was the last time you beat Portugal again? Since 2000 I only know 1 winner.
