I always felt that this rumour was fabricated by the club because they wanted to start a bidding war and cash in on the player. It seems you have to just mention MU and it generates interest. I am not hopeful at all about this transfer.

We do need him even if we keep Pogba and sign Dybala! God have you seen the strength in depth of top teams. I know we are no longer a top team but Jesus Christ any team with ambitions to be a top teams knows the importance of having strength in depth!

Why would you pay 80-90m for Maguire to have him sit in front of Matic? The lack of planning and direction is laughable. This is why we finish 6th and yoyo in and out of the Champions League. Dybala thing is also just a move of convenience. Why didn't have have a backup for Maguire? We could have signed Nathan Ake for less and be done with the CB issue. Even if we sign Maguire and Dybala our midfield will still be considerably weak and one of the poorest in the PL. Without Pogba we have no quality. I don't see how we score goals.

We really do. Pogba will be our only creative player who isn't a forward. You cannot play a season in the PL with only 1 midfielder in the whole squad who actually looks to play forward with some quality.
With people saying he wont fit in with Pogba etc, it's also about squad depth. Weve lost Fellaini and Herrera who were starters for us.
We absolute need Bruno as well as Dybala. They play different positions. Dybala is not a #10. He is a striker/false 9/ second striker.
