in 20 years time, there’ll be the caf equivalent of yewtree where those that didn’t rate fernandes will be ostracised worse than a 70s paedo.

Running up and down for 90 minutes, playing 3 games a week. This man is probably the most frequent player getting drug tested, game after the game.

He played really well, he will always misplace passes trying things to split defenses.

He frustrated me early season under ten Hag, but he is really standing up under Amorim with his performances.

Imagine if you were one of the people who are amongst the most prolific posters in this thread and you’ve spent all 141 pages slagging Bruno off and telling anyone who stands up for him that they’re wrong. Just imagine it. Grim.
Thats an interesting thought. Given that your favorite player just scored 3 goals in a nice win and performance, thats definitely an interesting thought to have. Not just you of course

It's so nice having a penalty taker you can rely on. I'm never nervous when he's taking one

Supposed Utd fans who do little but slag Bruno off.

Absolute clowns.

He's our best player by a mile, we'd be fecked without him.
@NZT-One I reckon this might be aimed at you mate. You said you had "buts" about tonight's performance. I get the feeling you'll be torn to shreds if you try to pour water on our love for Bruno, or 'agenda' as you refer to it.

Showed why he's so important today. So creative with his passing, decisive with his finishing and never stopped running. He's such a good footballer and a joy to watch when on song.

Thanks mate. Its really comforting knowing that you are around helping me to sort out the meaning of posts on here  . Its been a while that a performance can be praised like this one, I gave him credit and will leave it to you. Still a bit odd that there is so much talk about "those fans, who are wrong" but you do you, I am not judging. Celebrate your guy

Another outstanding season from Bruno despite playing in possibly the worst United side ever. His stats have been outrageous since day one, and it's beyond me how he gets any criticism given he's the only proper player United have signed since SAF's retirement.

If a central midfielder scores a hat-trick, creates 4 additional chances, makes 3 tackles and 2 interceptions. And the first think you post says that you have "buts" about the praise, then you clearly are clouded by some sort of bias or agenda.

It's not odd at all, it's human nature. Seeing a United player prove his biggest critics wrong makes his world class performances even more satisfying. Hence why Roy Keane's name has also been mentioned a few times.

He's simply a brilliant player and he works his nuts off every game, no idea how someone could not love him.

For me you could slot him into some of the greatest United sides and he wouldn't look out of place.

I'm not a psychologist, but every single interaction I've had with people being clearly wrong about something and not willing to admit it has to do with ego. It's just so hard for them to say "You know what, I was wrong. Credit to you and thank you for showing me the right way".

And then you can say: "Anytime, @NZT-One"

God. He was sensational tonight. He looks utterly reborn in that deeper role.

So many lovely short and long balls. Great penalties. Clinical finish to kill the game.

Not sure what the critics see or say. He’s our diamond.

He literally went in the Bruno thread less than an hour after we lifted the FA Cup to tell people to calm down and "don't get carried away". Fair to say that's far more odd behaviour than other United fans saying "suck it, Bruno haters".

You wonder what some people are more happy about today - Brunos performance or to finally have fresh substance to be smug
You really are miserable - why not just celebrate the win and admit Bruno was absolutely majestic today - brilliant! If any other central midfielder in the world put in that performance with a hat-trick, I'm sure you and other whiners would be singing their praise.

Of course he wouldn't. Put him in our 2011 side and have him feed Rooney and RvP - he would be brilliant.
