He was ok. Suppose that's something.
The first touch to bring the ball under control and lay it off to Rashford after Onana's pass over the top was actually very good. The connection between Bruno and Onana was very good and it helped create a few potential big opportunities which were sadly squandered.
Bruno are most important player who has more goal involvements than any player since he joined the league you want to loose.I'd still sell him for a half decent offer. Needs shifting before someone gets pissed and offers him a new contract. Moaning chunk.
Try watching United ladBruno are most important player who has more goal involvements than any player since he joined the league you want to loose.
He is a pure utd player never ruled out due to injury always available? (According to Ten Hagg) he is injured but is playing through the pain barrier foe utd and you think that is the type of player we don't need.
I think you are not the type of fan that we need.
I have problems with players not working and sometimes not being good enough for utd, but believe me Bruno would be in that city team more often than De Bruyne.
Setup the goal well, but all in all, he did a lot of thankless running and didn't see a lot off the ball.
There was a moment in the first half I think, where he's lying on the ground holding some part of his body while City play on and are attacking the box. I'm thinking, that's the captain of this team, just laying there while his team is under pressure, nothing wrong with him and he eventually gets up and trots off.

Come on, he got hit in the balls. It does take a minute to pass. You are not able to walk, let alone, run.
He was much more cleaner today with his passing, nothing radical or stupidly losing possession. No wonder, this type of game suited him much better under Ole.
Probably because the ball hit him right in the nuts (or stomach, hard to tell) just a few seconds prior.
Aye, there was nowt wrong with him though was there?
Suck it up and get back on your feet, then go down and count them when the ball goes out of play. Can't stand that bullshit.

With his age and the wage he's on, he won't fetch that much. Probably 30m at max? He's still one of the hardest working player and got lots of experience, League and international wise, and very rarely gets injured. And a total pro off the field. Never heard any bad thing about him. I'd rather sell Varane and Shaw, players who often injured; if the reason is to reduce wages.
If we do find someone better than him (like Mount or Amrabat?), i think he's good enough to keep around as squad player.
I think either I just entered a parallel universe or had a stroke. Might as well add in McTominay too.
Fantastic performance in a false-nine position at the Etihad today, incredible player unfortunately once again let down by his team-mates.
He wasn't bad which is a positive i guess. First half I thought he was good but then faded second half.
We stopped going long to him.
He was doing a weirdly decent job with the runs/long punts... which made our whole approach to the second half a mystery to me.
We had an approach in the second half?
Well to me it seemed that we wanted to start playing out from the back (Onana played 7 balls past the half way line - with 6 succesful - vs. two in the second half - both unsuccesful) - which had its predictable outcome up against City.
I get it in the sense of wanting to be on the ball more, but its just counter-productive. Might as well gain posession in their half before we lose it.

Nine assists so far this season. If he can get 7 more assists in our remaining 11 games then he will be in the top 10 for most ever PL assists in a season. Which would be absolutely fecking hilarious considering how poor the players he's creating for have been playing for most of this season and the abuse he's been getting in this thread.
A bit of a long shot though, admittedly...

Yeah he's only got 6 PL assists.
I have just discovered however that Pascal Gross (joint) leads the way with 10 assists though, which is a bit mad!

Wouldn’t it be more hilarious because he’s been poor for long patches of the season? Are our forwards massively underperforming their xG? How many chances has he actually created for the forward line, as I can’t recall many passes to Hojlund?
Very sensible post. Bruno is a workhorse and great for a counter attacking team, but United should try to build a young squad with ability on the ball to dominate games, after being cursed with horrible football for so long.I will chose not to believe you, thanks
On a serious note, Bruno is not a bad player he just thrives off a style of football I really don’t think is the way forward for us. That and his age are the key reasons why he should be moved on.

Another good performance today. We desperately need some players back but he had that bit of quality in the final third today.
