Liverpool are after a world class striker to replace Suarez. They're just waiting for Southampton to sign him first.

A visit to the 9/11 memorial site in New York left a lasting and profound impression on Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers after the Northern Irishman led a club delegation to the scene on Thursday.

I wonder did any Liverpool fans do their aeroplane thing there?
For them to visit it or do their airplane celly? Is that seriously necessary?

He's putting his head on the chopping black with the amount of money he is spending and these signings don't come off ala AVP with Spurs.
Is that seriously necessary?
Well I'm sure he will be under more scrutiny with respect to the Suarez money and how it was invested back into the club.He is, but what's the alternative, refuse to spend the money we have?
It's ironic? hypocritical? funny (not in a ha ha way) that Liverpool fans will laud this act for the respect shown after one aeroplane crash while gleefully mocking another.
I can't work it out. Is it ironic?

Every fanbase has idiots. United fans have sang songs about Hillsborough it doesn't mean you can smear an entire club with that brush.

Who are you referring too?Really can't stand that cnut and his stupid tan and expensive orthodontistry.
Who are you referring too?
I can't say I like him but he's the most likeable manager Liverpool had. He's also quite down to earth apparently?I like him, good manager.
A very, very small percentage of Liverpool fans "gleefully mock" Munich and its not fair to tar the entire fanbase with that brush. I'm sure the vast majority are ashamed of those who do it.

That's poor from Liverpool. Absolutely shameless.
He has an enormous portrait of himself in his own house. Very down to earth.
What is? Do some of you actually think before you post?
The manager and ex-players visit a memorial to pay respects to those who lost their lives.
Even Derby supporters are wise to these grief merchants now:
Bullshit. Can you imagine representatives from Nike or Microsoft or Apple or whoever, laying a wreath with a big bloody logo wrapped around it? The memorial is about the victims, not Liverpool Football Club.
And then they're there with big Cheshire Cat grins at the site, showing off the new LFC shirts. Like I said, shameless.
You talk bull too, it's anything to have a go at Lliverpool. If United had done this nothing would have been said.
Well done LFC! That reath is class.
If we'd laid a wreath with a big friggin' United badge on it, I would.
you frightful cynic!Of course, nothing to do with raising the profile of the club in the US at all.
Well played LFC.
I guess they need to save face after the full on support for racism.
You're using it as a photo op for your new shirt FFS, you don't see anything wrong with that? It's anything to have a go at Liverpool. If United had done this nothing negative would have been said.
Well done LFC! That wreath is class.
