Maybe they wont destroy them, but Skrtel, Sakho and Lovren (whatever duo will play) against Ronaldo, James, Bale will be, should be a fun watch.

Allen is hardly a first choice for your midfield, he spends most of his time being a super sub. Your front line was pirmarily the SSS and midfield was Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho last year. At the back, I was under the impression that Johnson had played 50% of your games so far, Sakho over 50% and Skrtel over 75% and Lovren 100%. Which is a pretty consistent back line in comparison to say us.

I agree loss of form, but my point of 1 missing player (Sturridge) is that the other players from last year have largely been available and it has been BRs choice not to play them. There is no major upheaval in tactics/formations.
Look at the line ups for this season. In some games it was 4/5 new players starting due to circumstances.

I'd love to see Rickie Lambert start, the contrast between this overweight, 32 year old slug and Ronaldo would be comical, I'm sure the Spanish fans wouldn't know what's going on.

Made some good decisions tonight. Game was gone thanks to our defence and goalie:

1. Subbed Coutinho off (come on Hull!!!)
2. Rested Henderson
3. Took off Balotelli to see if we can play better with 11 men instead of 10 (well 7 if you take out our defence)

Was dreading the QPR match and it turned out to be the horror show I was expecting. But really looking forward to Hull.

It's 11 set piece goals conceded in 12 games this season. Perhaps your great Brendan should consider addressing that issue.

Are the press murdering him yet?

They should and not just because of tonight's result.

£120m spent after losing one key player. One. And replaced with utter shite. That defence. feck me

He can't, or doesn't know how to. Probably the latter. So we need to go back to the tried and trusted outscore the oppos which he does know how to. And tonight showed our movement and fluidity is getting back to last season, not quite there yet for Real Madrid. But maybe for Hull.

No he really doesn't. Or else ye'd be doing it a bit more often.
