Hes nothing like Martial stylistically, odd comparison. More Balotelli.
Martial comparisons probably comes from him playing as a RW \ wide forward and fancying a dribble.
Hes nothing like Martial stylistically, odd comparison. More Balotelli.
Not a bad comparison but Embolo looks a lot more mobile and full of tricks. Origi is a better comparison, probably.Hes nothing like Martial stylistically, odd comparison. More Balotelli.
Looks absolutely awful based on the above video, am assuming this is just a one off bad performance. Ounas looks so much more accomplished based on this video but will continue looking for other match comps.
That article So salty, would be great if someone has the time to translate the whole thing, it would be quite a laugh here.
Balotelli is a completely wrong comparison. Balotelli doesn't even move.Hes nothing like Martial stylistically, odd comparison. More Balotelli.

The coach of Manchester United rose suddenly in the running for the European Football Cup Embolo a not lured with operating times or the (nonexistent) stimuli of the city: he lured with long bills.
I've not seen the player outside of Youtube's posted here, but even from those, I question what you're saying here.Martial's best position is on the left. Embolo's best position is on the right. That's why their managers play them in these positions.
But they are both black!? Another example of a lazy comparison which were all prone to doing I guess.Balotelli is a completely wrong comparison. Balotelli doesn't even move.

His strengths are the physical attributes, he is clearly raw in terms of technique and dribbling. Ideally he'd stay one more year at Basel to work on his weaknesses and to grow mentally but doesn't look like he has the patience. Huge gamble imo.
What an embarrassing article.
Yes. He isn't a winger. 4231 also isn't the formation for Martial.from the videos he looks raw, but he certainly has a lot of potential, his brute strength and pace will be so valuable in the epl, and above all his crossing seems better than anything we have in the squad, lastly i think he will be more suited to 4-3-3 as a forward rather than 4-2-3-1.
There's better clips on youtube. See the Manchester United target/welcome one.
Is this article from Swiss local newspaper?
Absolutely. But there are only one or two such clips of Embolo.Do you not find that videos which show all a player's action during a particular match to be more interesting that edited highlight clips?
I wouldn't even say Embolo looked 'awful' in that video. He was technically lacking at times but showed decent pace and a lot of strength, good work rate also. You can see why there is such a debate about his 'best' position. That's just one game but he started off on the right, then moved centrally for a while and in the second half he was on the left for a time before again going central.
Not refering to the price but whether or not he'll make it at United. For the prices quoted in todays market it really isn't much of a gamble tbh.
That's a great comparison. He actually moulded himself after Balotelli early in his career from the articles I read. But he has the work ethic Balotelli doesn't.Hes nothing like Martial stylistically, odd comparison. More Balotelli.

He looks like his 'best' position is the same one Martial plays in: coming in from the left, as that's where he scores all his proper goals from in the vid.
From the right, he looks to cross or pass or simply blast it at the goal, whereas from the left, he's calm, composed and is slotting home. He never uses his left foot, which is a massive hindrance whilst coming in from the right side of the pitch.
From the right, he looks like a ball-playing winger; from the left, he looks like an accomplished wing-forward - he doesn't look like he has both sets of attributes irrespective of the wing he's on, so it's a pick your poison scenario: goals from the left, or assists from the right.
I've heard he's highly rated, but he looks underwhelming in what is supposedly his best highlights from a season in a weak league. If the links with us are true, it will be good to get a proper look at him during the Euros.
It says N/A for his league assists. Is WhoScored wrong or did he really only get 1 assist all season?
